Like any other glove
Good for light work, in a warehouse environment they last a couple of weeks. Can't imagine they would last long on a heavy construction site. Very comfortable though.

The Best Work Gloves I Have Ever Owned!
Prior to purchasing these DeWalt work gloves, I had a pair of what I thought were some quality work gloves and used them to move some firewood. Within a few days, there were holes in the place between the thumb and index finger. Not with these DeWalt work gloves. This is real quality combined with ruggedness...which is typical of every DeWalt product that I own. There is extra leather reinforcing various places on these gloves, including between the thumb and index finger. The velcro fastening system at the wrist insures that no material will get inside the glove. These work gloves are durable, fit well, are very flexible, you retain pretty good manual dexterity and they will protect your hands very well. If you need work gloves that will protect your hands and last, DeWalt is the way to go. I highly recommend these. They are the best work gloves I have ever owned. IMPORTANT SIZE INFORMATION: These DeWalt gloves run a size small. If you normally wear a size large glove, order a size very large. Otherwise, you will have to return them and order the larger size.

Excellent Quality Glove but Runs Small
We do a lot of refurbishing and repurposing for cast iron. I ordered these for my husband who does the grinding part because I can't with my asthma. Unfortunately when we receive them, I did have to request a refund because they were too small even though I ordered a size large. Not only was Amazon incredibly quick to honor the request and give the refund, I do have to be fair in saying that though they do run small, they are a great quality product and I actually ended up using them because they have the straps where you can adjust it to be a little bit tighter around the wrist. Definitely a great quality glove but probably not suited for those with the biggest of hands! Great quality gloves for the price. Just think bigger when you're ordering. So if someone takes a large, Maybe and next size up would be best.

Great Investment
I volunteer with a non-profit organization that builds and installs wheelchair ramps for the elderly and physically disabled. I bought my first pair of Dewalt gloves in September 2011. I needed gloves that would protect my hands when handling rough lumber. The gloves are lightweight but durable. I did not have any problems with the glove size fitting my hands. We build and install a wheelchair each week. In addition to the protection for my hands, the gloves are flexible enough that I can pickup and handle wood screws from 1 inch through 3 inches without any problem. The first pair of gloves lasted over a year of constant use before they started showing signs of wear. I even washed them in my washing machine and it did not affect the fit. I bought another pair in June 2013. Now I have two pair one for regular use and one spare.

Velcro work gloves
Into gardening or heavy yard work, these are a must have. I was given a pair years ago as a gift and when they died after sewing the fingers a few time I had to buy more. They fit well. The velcro helps hold them in place, as well as to keep dirt from getting inside the gloves. When soiled from yard/garden work, I just wash in the kitchen sink and hang to dry.

I use these for all purposes, during construction, making necessary repairs around the house, being sustainable to blisters, these help in minimizing the possibility of blisters on the hands.
