What I needed
Repairing an HVAC on a tractor. I needed about 1.5 feet but you can't purchase short section so now I have a lot left over that I will likely never need. If you want to purchase just a few feet, I might have "by the foot" on Facebook Marketplace soon.

Expensive, but works for automotive A/C
This tape is a bit more expensive than what I wanted, but it does a great job wrapping A/C lines to the evap on my 90s import car. It is significantly more pliable than the cork that the car came with originally (which is kind of stiff), but thanks to that softness, it makes it easier to apply. It is just sticky enough to hold onto the aluminum lines. The lines don't weep at all when the A/C is running, so I consider it a success.

Expensive but does the job
Used to wrap the A/C lines near the HVAC box on an E30 BMW. Very similar to what was used from the factory. Extremely happy with this and I'll likely never need to buy more of this again. Way more than I needed but this feels and performs like you'd expect professional stuff to.

Hard to Find Product
None of the box stores carry this, and a lot of HVAC supply houses are weird about selling to non-contractors. It's the stuff that looks like roofing cement, but isn't, that goes around the refrigerant lines where they come out of your air handler. It keeps them from sweating or leaking. As you probably know if you're looking for this, if you have to remove it to service your air handler, it loses much of it's stickiness if you try to re-use it. One roll of this will last you a long time.

Real cork tape
hard to find cork insulated tape I used on my 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D. It looks very good and adheres well.

Old school but great.
I use this for HVAC work. Mostly between coil cases and air handlers. It also serves as a nice substitute for thumb gum.

Seems okay
No real instructions included so i wasn’t sure how to apply this at first because I’m not familiar with this kind of stuff and I didn’t realize this stretches. I do know cork is a great insulator and I wanted it for some exposed pipes. Once I figured out how to apply it, I’m pretty happy with it. I’ll see if it holds up to my expectations this winter.
