Good Fabric Softener
I normally buy this in stores but I ran out and wasn’t planning on going to the store so I got it on Amazon. It’s a great fabric softener, I have allergies and very sensitive skin and the scent from this is gentle enough that it doesn’t seem to bother me but I can tell that it makes my clothes smell nice. When Amazon ships it, they put a sticker-thingy on the top to help prevent leaking and it did not leak so I had no issues with buying this on Amazon vs. in a store. I would definitely recommend this fabric softener for anyone with sensitive skin or allergies if you don’t want to use the unscented kind.

Being able to use the same amazing scent throughout the washing and drying process
I had typically done laundry like most people, buying either whats on sale or an assortment of different detergents and softners. I almost always used one kind of detergent like Gain, one type of fabric softener like Snuggle, one type of washing beads like Unstoppables and still yet another dryer sheet like Bounce. It's not that the clothes didn't come out smelling fresh and clean, but it was a veritable cornucopia of scents. I found this amazing smelling Downy Calm with fresh vanilla bean and lavender with products available for the whole laundry process. It truly is a unique blend that doesn't overpower with fragrance but softens and protrcts the colors of clothes and imbues them with a subtle yet vibrant aroma that I continue to get compliments on. Thus, I am now a proud and dedicated member of the Downy Calm fabric softener, washing beads, and dryer sheets for an unmistakably unique experience that last the whole day through and more. We simply love this product, now we just need some Detergent with the calming vanilla bean and lavender to perfect and complete the laundry experience.

Takes put chemical smells of new clothes
New clothes now days really smell when you receive from all over the world in online orders. This removed those smells and any others i have come accross leaving a wonderful light scent in its place. I refuse to run out of this product. I rely on it to keep my clothing/sheets/towels etc. smelling clean and fresh.

Love the Scent. I don't really know if it makes my clothes any softer, but I love the scent so much that I don't care ha. I also use the beads in the same scent and love them too. friends say my whole house smells like it now, and im happy to hear it.

Not exactly the smell of vanilla bean
This bottle is less expensive if you buy the jug with more loads (120 load bottle). I wanted to give it a try before as I didn’t want to buy something I wouldn’t use again. To my surprise, this smells very good, not directly from the bottle as it feels a tad concentrated and toxic, but once my clothes come out from the washer, they smell amazing! For the record, I use Tide Original alongside. However, I will say that they don’t smell like vanilla bean. Also, once I put it through the dryer, it just smells like regular clothes. The scent is no longer there. I can only smell the Unstoppables scent boosters that I put alongside in the wash. These were the only things I wanted to point out. I would consider buying this again, but I will keep trying new variations of Downy until I find the right one for me and family.

Great product
Arrived quickly.Packaged very well. No spilling\damage to bottles. The scent is subtle and is not overpowering with a "perfume " scent. Made my towels soft with very little added to wash cycle. Recommended and would buy again.

This was extremely thick
I haven’t used this product before so I have nothing to compare it too but it came out of the jug very thick and gloopy. This is not a temperature issues at they had been inside for days. Still smells good though.

Love this product but not through Amazon
The media could not be loaded. I love the scent of this product and use it regularly, however ordered it on Amazon for the first time and got a thick, clumpy product. Also weird return situation where Amazon directs you to the Downy site but it’s only for US residents. Would just recommend buying it in store.
