My new daily work boots. They are warm and the fit is perfect. Comfortable from the beginning. I added better orthotic insoles and I'm good to go. I am a big Doc Martin fan in the first place. this is my 20+ pair and I love them.

Excellent boot with most frustrating laces.

I love this boot. Since Zachary (the old style I had) can't be found anymore (or I can't find a new set), this was the style for me. Got them, slipped them on, and went to lace them up - and found eyelets instead of hooks for the top two final laces. Curses! For small, nimble elf fingers this might not be a challenge, except the length of the plastic tip is the exact length between the two openings (shoe engineers take note). Combine that zero clearance distance with normal, man-size fat fingers and you get the most annoying pair of boots to lace all the way up - ever. These would be a six-star boot if they didn't take 10 minutes to get into. Lacing issues aside, it is a great quality boot with superb foot feel and fit. I happily wear them but just add 10 minutes to go anywhere with them. Oh, yeah, this pair also had a nasty squeak in the front sole until broken in.

Uncomfortable

I have had Doc Martins in the past and the leather was soft and pliable. These boots are uncomfortable, stiff and heavy.
