One of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.
I've been wearing Docs since they were all made in England and Nirvana was a new band... Yes, the quality of Dr Martens has gotten... varied. Some products have been poorly constructed, some used inferior materials; but some products are actually about the same quality as before they restructured the company and moved all of the production overseas. All that being said, these are a great casual boot. The leather is probably 0.5-1.0mm thinner than vintage boots but that's still thicker than some of the offerings out there. The waxed finish on the leather is doing some awesome things to the creasing and marring. As soon as you put these on... you will really that you are TRYING to put them on. They are stiff out of the box. An their shape and construction don't lend themselves to getting your foot in. It's a narrow ankle on them but the elastic portion of the shaft is incredibly durable. You can wrench the boot open and slip your foot in. You will immediately notice that the waxed finish gives this a pull-up look on the leather. These brown ones get some gorgeous streaks of orange from underneath the grain. My picture doesn't do it justice. The cut and style is the same as it has been since the 90s or 00s, whenever the Chelsea was first introduced. They look amazing with dark or light jeans and with casual slacks that aren't khaki in color (personal preference). Wearing these around the house and out in town gets them broken in in a matter of days. As such, they are much easier to put on and take off than when you get them. I would suggest using DM's cleaning solutions and creams for these. The waxed leather behaves differently than a regular smooth grain 1460. These have become my go-to "shoe by the door" and I have often found myself wearing them all day. The AirWear Bouncing Sole design has really maintained its quality.

Not very comfy but cool
I am usually a size 7 in other brands and I purchased a size 6. The size 6 was still a little big on me. The opening of the boot at the top digs into the skin while walking unless I am wearing tall socks. But I still think they are so cool looking.

Nice Dr Marten boots
I just received these boots yesterday and really like them. I usually don’t buy shiny boots or shoes but wanted something dressy that wasn’t a pair of high heels. These boot are very comfortable and the fit is TTS. I do need to wear thin socks with the boots but that’s ok. They don’t need any breaking in( my feeling is if you need to break in shoes, don’t buy them, it’s a bad fit). But these are great. They will work well with my dressy pants. Cute and comfy.

Already
I love these but I haven't had them long and the elastic is already getting scrungly.

Love love love
So freaking cute! Easy to slip on and off. Super comfortable and look so great on! I should add that I had to order a size down. I did originally buy my size in shoes and they were too big. Looked like ???? shoes. So order a size down and it’ll be a perfect fit.

Work shoes
I got these for work as a server and they have held up pretty well so far. I already have some wear and tear on them but I wear them 5-8 hours a day. Took a few days to break them in.

Awesome boots!
I bought these boots for ease of wear, comfort, and a bit of style. It checks off all boxes, they are easy to slip on. I've worn them quite a bit, city walking, swap meets, fairs, even on a 18 hour flight. They look good in jeans and loose fitting pants (skinny clothes might look akward).

Great value and comfort. Runs big
This pair runs more like a women’s 10 than a 9. Super comfortable anyway. I should have exchanged for a size down but I still love them

False description, completely different boot than what was advertised
I am very disappointed with the product that I received, these were not the boots that were advertised. The boots that came were completely different and they look cheap. The boots that I originally ordered were supposed to have the yellow stitching around the sole of the boot and the yellow writing on the tag at the back of the boot. I advise anyone wanting to order these off of Amazon to just buy them in person.

So nostalgic, soooo comfy!!!
My wife had been so busy creating a career and raising our kids that she forgot what a hip chicken she actually was.... all it took was XMAS morning on her boots to remind... you can be both.

Buy a size down! Otherwise these are PERFECT!
These boots are PERFECT! As expected from the other reviews they do run a size large. I’m a 7.5-8 and bought a 7 and they fit perfectly with a bit of room for thick socks. The leather was stiff when they first arrived, but they took no more than ~3 days of walking around to get comfortable in. DO NOT WALK FOR LONG DISTANCES THE FIRST FEW TIMES YOU WEAR THEM! I walked for about 30 minutes total to my gym and back home and I got a blister on my toe lol. I also suggest wearing slightly higher socks your first few wears, as they’ll rub on your ankles quite a bit. Now I’ve worn them for about a week and they’re totally comfortable. 5/5 product, I’m sure they’ll last me for ages.
