Poor packaging, good product.

Package arrived very beat up and torn open. Thankfully, all the parts were there and in acceptable condition. Hitch is much better quality and heavier than I expected.

Good product BUT…

These are heavy and good quality BUT note that they will not fit an Airstream Basecamp 16 (at least not year 2021 - 22) just in case you’re thinking about it… otherwise I see nothing negative about them.

Came with incorrect hardware

This is a good Reese WDH however my kit came with metric threaded nuts for the bolts that attach the bars to the trailer frame. A quick trip to the hardware store solved the problem but I guess that's why the kit I purchased was $100 less than everywhere else.

Hastle to put together but worth it in the end

I give this only a four star because there were parts missing when I received it, although after contacting Reese directly they sent me the parts and I received them quickly, so kudos to Reese support. Otherwise I have found this hitch very nice and affordable as it does weight distribution and sway control in one simple package. I am very satisfied with how it pulls my trailer. When installing I did have to take some parts to a nearby auto mechanic to torque it to the correct specs, and so I cannot give it a five star rating, but I do recommend it.

Good hitch

The hitch seems good. The install was easy except for the bolts mounting to the frame are really hard to tighten. It almost feels like you are cross threading. Customer service confirmed that’s how the bolts are designed and they responded right away and was even willing to send new bolts out with I wanted them.

Simple, effective weight distribution hitch.

Perfect weight distribution system without backing restrictions. Easy setup once you watch the OEM video. I’m going to be honest, the OEM paper instructions are a JOKE! Reese can do better instructions than this, why haven’t they? Does provide some sway control, but is primarily weight distribution. Does a great job for us and our camper. Easy on/off once setup the first time. Not like chain systems that require readjusting every time you connect. Love this setup and will be using it for a long time.

Worth it

Customer service is amazing. I would highly recommend ordering from these people. I didn't use the instructions that came with it. I just watched a YouTube video and it all went together pretty easily. I didn't have any problems at all. I haven't pulled the camper with it yet, but it sure is sitting a lot more level than it was before

Exemplary delivery time!

I called the seller direct to make sure this item would be delivered by our deadline so we could take our travel trailer on a trip. Rex & Sons R.V.s confirmed there were numerous in stock in my region, so delivery date would be met. We were pleasantly shocked when it was delivered at least 4 DAYS prior to estimated delivery. I would 100% recommend this vendor. The hitch is of high quality and we are excited to get it mounted up and be on our way!
