Easy set up with comfortable bottom
The set up for this straight our the box was so easy. I had it up in 5 minutes ready to be used. Everything also fits really nicely in the bag that comes with it. The bottom of this has some padding to it and it makes it comfortable to sit down and be on outside. I sat in this with my baby on bumpy dirt that has some pokey weeds and it didn’t bother either of us at all. It was a great. There’s some little bugs that can still get in, but it did keep out others like mosquitos. The sides bunch up a bit whenever you’re moving the zipper area, so you need to pull them back down a little. It’s also very bright inside when in sunlight because of it being all white. It held up really well with it being windy and allowed good airflow inside even with it all closed up. It was slightly more challenging to take down the sides of the bottom because of the little metal push ball, but not too hard like others can be. Once those two were done it was a breeze closing it all up and putting it back into its bag. It wipes down clean really well also.

Easy to set up
We got this for containing our 1 year old small puppy when his 7 year old (also dog) sister needs a break from his antics. It’s decently sized, and super easy to set up right out of the box. It’s ok for very specific outdoor use - not too bright since the mesh canopy means there’s zero effective shade inside, and not drizzling or raining or anything for the same mesh canopy reason), but it’s great for giving our older dog some space without putting the puppy in his training kennel for an hour.

Spacious and Sturdy
A safe place for the baby to play while at the lake, campground, backyard, or grandma's living room is helpful for parents. This playpen is spacious and sturdy. It is larger than a pack n' play when set up but about the same size and weight when collapsed. It is easy to assemble, though I didn't realize at first that there are locking pins on only two corners, and to release them, you have to slide the plastic tab down and then depress the locking pin. It also took me a bit to figure out the canopy, but once I did, it was easy to put on top of the playpen. A zipper in the canopy makes it easy to take the baby in and out, and there is another zipper in the side of the playpen so that the baby can crawl in and out. It unzips from the top down so that the door lies on the floor when unzipped. Also, the canopy comes down over the top edge of the playpen, and is held up only by elastic on each corner. It does not always stay down all the way and slides up, and it will not keep a child from climbing out as it is easy to lift. The door, however has a small buckle on the outside, preventing the baby from unzipping it. A strap with a buckle holds the whole thing closed for storage. I wish the strap were permanently attached to the playpen to prevent it from getting lost when not in use. The carry bag is roomy enough to fit the playpen, has a shoulder strap, and feels sturdy. Overall this feels like a good basic playpen. I don't anticipate using the canopy very much, if at all, since its main purpose seems to be for bugs and perhaps dappled shade since it is made out of netting like the rest of the playpen.

It’s a definitely a splurge item
Portable and light weight. The playpen is easy to set up and love the little canopy, it’s better suited for indoors and I may add some string lights to it for a special effect. Kind of a different take on a teepee or just a regular playpen. It’s super cute and clean in the white color. I probably would use another type of pop up tent for outdoors since this really does not provide in protection from the sun (UV), and it’s white so don’t want to get it dirty or filled with sand. It’s priced a bit higher than most playpens, teepees and tents we have seen.

Good with a few caveats...
My daughter-in-law wanted a playpen she could use outdoors with her baby while doing gardening. For that purpose this seemed a perfect solution, but the one problem is that while the canopy will protect against most bugs, it's not great for protection against the sun. It just lets too much sun through. I don't understand the mesh canopy when the sides of the playpen are also mesh. A solid canopy could protect both against sun and light rain. The mesh fabric permits airflow, but the sides of the playpen are already mesh, meaning airflow is already provided for. Besides that, the playpen is excellent. Dream on Me makes good baby/child equipment at affordable prices and this is just another example of that approach. Easily set up, solid, this is a fine playpen. Only the canopy is questionable.

Perfect for the beach
The set up is ridiculously easy. You just pull out the play pen and expand it until it clicks. Folding up is also easy and it even comes with a way to pop the metal pieces easier. The canopy isn’t hard or complicated to use either. When folded it comes with a strap to hold it together. I don’t find it very heavy but I do plan on using a wagon to carry it with other things wherever I take it. The material seems durable and suitable for outdoor use. Though I will have a thin mat inside as it is thin. But that’s necessary in order to fold well.

Super lightweight
This is very easy to cart around for a beach or park picnic! It sets up super quickly and offers all around protection for baby. I love that it's lightweight mesh for those warm days or nights. The floor is well padded, and it's large enough for you to get in and play with them! Folds away into the carry bag for easy toting!
