Drill America - Foret robuste en cobalt D/ACOFP12 F (lot de 12), D/ACO série F

Brand:Drill America

3.6/5

Great Drill Bits
I’ve used Drill America bits for many years. The M42 8% Cobalt specifically! I love them. For a couple extra bucks, the M42 Cobalts blow the M35 5% Cobalt Drills out the water. The standard HSS bits don’t even compare. The M42 Drills cut almost as good as Solid Carbide. Drill America is a great value. And their Drill Bits are super high quality’s straight & finished well. Fantastic!

Great Drills But Packaging Not Great
These drills are very sharp and do appear to be high quality cobalt steel, however there is nothing on the packaging or the drills themselves to indicate that these are M42. It's also worth noting that the packaging is just a thin cardboard sleeve, and I'm not sure it will hold up in a bin with all my other cutters and drill attachments for very long. No complaints about the quality of the drills themselves, but a plastic case with proper labeling would go a long way for me.

Sharp excellent performance.
Always important to purchase the very best bits. These fit the descriptions. Sharp clean cuts and most important, the flutes clean out easily running cool while in use.

A good product that was expensive. A bit overkill. Only buy if you MUST have one.

meh
bought these 1/2" bits to drill thru mild steel not too thick. bits would walk across the metal if not carefully slowly and very firmly started. Drilled 6 holes and switched to new bit. Definitely not impressed. Would not buy again. I'm sure it would be fine in soft material, but that's not why I bought their "best bit". Fail

Awesome product, highly recommend!
Bought this drill bit to work on old silver plated teapots I was converting to chimes. Other drill bits just couldn’t stand up to the hardness. This drill bit worked like a dream! So happy I did a bit of research, and found this bit!

3,000+ Holes Drilled Into Aluminum and Steel with Just Two Bits.
I purchased 3 sets of these for use in building a An AC Cobra replica thinking that they would wear out quickly. There are over 3000 holes to drill and 1500+ rivets and screws. About 55% of these are into aluminum panels and the rest are into steel chassis framing. I noticed that they tend to like higher speed drills. I used 2 drill bits for these. Both bits are still able to drill through panels and steel with not much more difficulty than when new. The only issue I had was operator error where I broke two bits drilling into a laminated panel that pinched the bits between two sheets of metal. These both broke on first use, but it was not the fault of the bit itself but mine. They center well, maintain a clean cut and don't bite bad on the punch through.

Stainless steel didn't have a chance
I used the bit to drill through 1/8" stainless steel plate. It went through it like a hot knife through butter.
