Catches more than you'd think
I did a lot of research and this seemed like the least invasive solution for indoor fly traps. I've found that if you have a fly problem, you really need to cut them off at the source, which is outside--for that I highly recommend the Victor Fly Magnet jars. The DynaTrap works great for picking off the stragglers that make it into the house. This does catch houseflies--which was my biggest concern. I was pleased to see other things make their way to the cards--fruit flies, months, etc. It blends in well during the day, but lights are too bright for a bedroom or attached bath. I ordered a few and put one in the laundry room. At night I leave the lights on in there while turning off others in sequence leading up to that room. Like magic the flies follow the lights into the laundry room where I shut the door and reach in to flip the switch. In the morning the cards are a bit fuller. Package says cards work for three weeks, and I've found that's about right. The refills aren't cheap, but I've ordered them a few times and think it's worth having something other than my swatter hunting flies.

Integrity of the Company
I made an inquiry through amazon link if the UV light is replaceable and how to order the bulb. Instead I was sent a brand new one within a few days. I did not receive any correspondence, but truly impress with the action they took with my inquiry. I own several Dynatrap products because they work, never gave any reviews because I thought the products spoke for itself. But I'm doing this review because the company value their products and their customers. Thank you.

This little gnat catcher has been so helpful in alleviating those pesky tiny flys in the house. This photo is after 2 weeks of using it plugged in near the back slider. Be sure to buy the replacement cartridges!

Surprised how well it worked!
I moved a lot of my plants inside for the winter. After having this unit plugged in for a couple weeks, I was really surprised how many gnats it attracted.
