This is indeed a heavy-duty escutcheon/plate that fits around 1/2 inch IPS pipe. However, unlike the title description, each pkg has only 1, NOT 12, included. Also the closing latch is a bit loose, so even when closed, there is often a half mm wide open gap between the two halves at the latch. Finally, the finish plating/paint has bubble defects in it.

Beware - misleading product description

Beware - misleading product description. It says pack of 12. Upon arrival the product packaging also says pack of 12 - however there is only 1 unit in the pack. Previous reviews stated the same thing but I thought that the issue would have been addressed by the time I ordered. Unfortunately this is not the case - as of 3/7/2023 the product it still packaged with only 1 unit in it. I returned for a refund. On a side note the product itself seemed to be of good quality - so if you are willing to pay the price and only need one unit this may be good for you.

MISLEADING Description - says 12 pcs, only 1 arrived

I should have read the reviews - they all seem to indicate that the description is misleading (intentionally???)!!! When you believe you will receive 12, you are willing to pay for 12. When only 1 arrives, then that 'deal' is 12 times the cost! Sadly, this has been reported many times, and not corrected. I fell for it too - hope you don't!

Wrong size. Wrong quantity. You can see in the photos that the label indicates 1 1/2 inch IPS, but the hole in this escutchen is only 1.125 in. It needs to be over 1.9 inches. The label also says 12 piece, but only 1 piece is in the unopened bag. Not sure how the review showed 2.7 Stars when there was only one 5-star review and three 1-star reviews. Now another 1-star review. Looks to be good quality, but price too high for just one.

The description says 12 piece and only one is sent. loose fit around 1/2 inch IPS. Will be looking for a better replacement at hardware store. Do not recommend

Problem with quantity and size

For some reason my review keeps getting flagged even though it is accurate and contains nothing that violates Amazon's review guidelines. There are two problems with this product. First it is advertised as a 12 pack, but I only received one item. Second, the item itself is the wrong size - the description says it's for 2 inch pipe but the opening is actually 2.5 inches.
