Created a planter and planted a tree in under an hour.
I bought a home with a lot less flowers in the front than I'd prefer, and a sloped backyard over-run with invasive south African plants. I bought this edging with plans to start creating planters and barriers, and just this week used it to create a planter for a Fuji apple in my west-facing front yard. I cut it with garden shears; not easy, but totally doable. I also bought more stakes for future applications. But the edging was malleable, lightweight, and rigid enough to stand upright on its own. I employed the lasagna-gardening method where I just put cardboard over grass, then mulched, using my homemade stepping stones to keep everything in place during our Santa Ana winds. We had a good downpour today and the edging kept all of my mulch in place wonderfully. Looking forward to using it again. I used at least 9 stakes in just this shape, so definitely recommend more, but it settled nicely onto existing grass once anchored wo any flimsiness. Would totally buy again. 4.5/5 due to limited stakes. But for the price I paid last year, easy trade off.

Beautiful Edges!
So, I applied this edge because I hated the existing look of our flower bed on our new home. While the house is beautiful, the flowerbed needed some help (well, a lot of help LOL). In the photo, you can see the before and after look. I did it all by myself. Not bad for a first time approach if I do say so myself!! It’s very flexible and I highly recommend the bonus package with extra nails to secure it to the ground. You can be basic. Or make creative, asymmetrical designs. There is no right or wrong way and the outcome is stunning!

Worked out nicely
Came just as pictured and on time. It was a really good price and just what I was looking for! It was pretty easy to use. I unrolled it on a warm sunny day and let it straighten out some before use. That was a chore with 100ft of it. We edged around our pool and put down weed barrier and added some river rock. I also used it for one side of a walkway to separate stone from lava rock. I still have some leftover for next year. No matter where you purchase this type of edging, you will need more spikes. The more stakes the better! It can be a little tricky with uneven ground spots, but still works. We've used our weed trimmer up against it several times this year and it has been just fine so far. Hoping it will last a while. Our place gets a lot of sun and haven't noticed and fading yet. If it lasts a few years, it was worth the cost and effort to install it and I would do it again.

Not enough stakes included.
There are nowhere near enough stakes included. If you plan on filling and using this border to hold back mulch or gravel it will be pushed over and your filling will spill into your yard. You'll ideally need at least 30 extra stakes if you plan to use the entire roll.

Needs many more spikes
This only has enough spikes for about every 5th tab/hole. In Arizona with hard, gravely clay-dirt, the slight tension from the packaging/shipping curvature caused the far-spread spikes to tear through the soil and move the fence. You will have to spend time un-bending it with heat and reverse curling. Then you'll probably still need a bunch more spikes to really hold this in place. Factor that into the cost. The fence material itself looks like a mail room box (cut rate thin recycled plastic). Reddish-brown as pictured. It is reasonably stiff yet cutable with tin snips... with scissors you'll need a large sharp pair and strong hands. If you have very light duty for this barrier, such as hold back grass or low-fill gravel on one side, probably fine. I'm using it as reinforcement behind wooden posts and for that it's passable -- once a bunch more spikes have been added, the curvature is removed with heat, and the ground has dried thoroughly. Glad this isn't all Im counting on to hold back mulch and maintain a curved barrier.

Easy, affordable and survives kids, dogs and weed whacker
I ended up buying about 800 feet of this stuff. I did also buy a zillion extra yard staples since true to reviews they don’t give you enough stakes for this stuff. I went nuts with it. Trimmed around tree beds, trimmed around the deer netting surrounding my raised garden beds. Trimmed along our sidewalk. It has been a game changer for our front sidewalk for keeping the mulch in the beds from rain and dogs digging in it. We also used it to separate a section of mulch from grass where the kids and dogs ran our yard into a mud path. I did my first gas powered weed whack of it today, totally not pictured, you’re getting the not pictured perfect views of my edging insanity... and it held up great especially for my first weed wack of the season that is usually a butcher job. Ha. Easy to put in, I cut it with branch lobbers. I’m so glad I found this stuff. A heck of a lot cheaper thAn the copious amounts of fancy blocks I would need to make nice beds. This is just fine! Oh and it has survived quiet well to humans and dogs trampling on and over it a bunch.

It makes the outline of my flower beds neat and tidy.
I was pleased with the look and very easy instalment of the first purchase of Easy Flex Edging, and was so pleased that I ordered another 40 ft. I am 83 and installed it myself . I let my 8 year old grandson pound in the 8" plastic nails. Easy!

Easy to work with!
Beautiful look and easy to cut and make even the complex curves with help of spikes. For complex curves you may need to buy extra spikes.
