Fun toy. Best for ages 2-4
Very cute game. My 3 1/2 year old have fun touching all the different textures, pretending to be the animals, and making animal sounds. Even when not “playing” the game he has had fun playing with the barn and the animals. My only concern is if the spinner will hold up to a rough little boy. Good toy for the price. Lots of ways to use the game for learning

Fun and simple activity for kids!
Fun game for preschoolers and older kids too. This is a fun and simple game for kids- good for practicing words, colors, animal names, describing how things feel, etc. The kids also had fun playing with the barn and other toys as well. It would be nice if the spinner stored in or snapped onto the barn for easier storage though.

Fun with different textures
While my son (19 months) is a little young to properly play the game, we've been playing with the different textures pieces. He also absolutely loves the barn. I wish it did have a handle on top so it's a little easier for him to carry around.

very cute!
My 2 year old loved putting the animals in the barn and taking them out again, but the concept of the spinner and making it a game was not as interesting to him.

Cute sensory toy!
This is such a cute sensory toy! Both of my girls (3.5 year old and 1.5 year old) love playing with game every day! I love that it is not only teaching my kids about touching and feeling different textures but it is also teaching my girls how to spin and match. It is so much fun watching my girls play together and I also like it is teaching them how to take turns. My only wish was that it included more farm animals (going along with the barn theme). I know so many moms that create their own sensory box with different types of fabric but I think this petting zoo set is so much better and cuter! I think this would be a great gift for even a one year old!

ZERO STARS
This sounded like the perfect game for my young grands. The first one I received only had the barn. Np bc Amazon sent a replacement. Guess what!? It was empty, too. Sent both back and am sooo disappointed.

Cheaply made
Very cheaply made, broken upon arrival; husband glued the entrance piece back on barn and it broke again upon first use. The spinner broke after a few times of use. The cloth part on the frog came off. Just very poorly constructed for the intended age group. THey enjoy it anyway, but it is made inferior!

Great Game for the Tots in Your Life
This fun game has toddlers (and parents) collect animals based upon the way they feel. You put the animals in the barn, and spin the textured spinner. You then feel the spinner and reach into the barn to find the matching animal based on feel. This tactile game is great for teaching turns-taking, but it's also a lot of fun and helps children to notice details in the world around them. I got this for my littlest child so that she has a game to play on game night, too, and she loves it.

Nice idea, not well implemented
The idea behind this sensory game is a good one - teaching children about finding and identifying items by shape and texture when they can't be seen. This encourages the use of vocabulary related to different kinds of touch experience. Unfortunately, the implementation is not great. I have several criticisms. This only comes with 6 animal shapes. This is quite a small number considering the size and recommended retail price of the toy, and 6 seems a slightly unusual number to select - in terms of early numeracy development 5 or 10 would seem a more coherent number. Secondly, the build quality is not the best - the barn is OK, but the animals and spinner are really very poor quality. The animals are made of fabric stuck to either card or very thin plastic (without peeling them, I can't tell), but don't feel at all durable. A child playing with this set is going to want to play with the animals when they win them. The rabbit I received was all fraying around the edge, whilst the satin on one side of the pig had not been smoothly adhered. This isn't terribly well designed when it comes to storage either. This could have been made as an all in self-storing set, but whilst the animals fit into the barn, the spinner is too big. The barn itself, with the sort of rubbery cover to the hand hole is quite nice, and you could add your own play pieces to extend the play experience, but the rest of this (including the promised 'three different way to play') simply doesn't seem to justify the RRP.

Fun and cute
Its very cute. The barn is cute, the animals are cute. Its designed for little hands. Part of the fun is playing with the animals and making the noises. I am very popular with my piggy noise. There are games you can play but that's not been such a hit. Jumping the animals around and having them talk to each other was much better. Its fun and cute
