Nos collections de médaillons de plafond sont inspirées de motifs et de conceptions historiques originaux. Nos artisans sculptent ensuite à la main une pièce originale. Étant sculptée à la main, chaque pièce est richement détaillée avec un relief profond, des lignes nettes et une touche vraiment unique. Cette pièce maîtresse est ensuite utilisée pour créer un maître de moule. Une fois le moule maître créé, nous utilisons notre mousse d'uréthane haute densité pour former chaque médaillon. L'aspect fini est une pièce maîtresse magnifiquement détaillée, légère et solide. La ressemblance avec les médaillons en plâtre d'origine est obtenue uniquement en utilisant notre uréthane haute densité et non des médaillons en plastique formés sous vide. - Les médaillons peuvent être coupés à l'aide d'outils de travail du bois standard pour ajouter un trou pour un auvent électrique ou un ventilateur de plafond. - Les médaillons sont légers pour une installation facile. - Ils sont entièrement apprêtés et prêts pour votre peinture. Love it!

We live in a 1914 home and I was looking for a medallion to cover some ceiling cracks around the light fixture in our sunroom. This was a great price and hit the historic/vintage style without seeming too gaudy. Easy to install and it matched our white ceiling without needing any painting. Definitely recommend!

it looks nice, without being too fancy for the room.

I installed this today, and it's gorgeous. It's big enough to fit my Hunter ceiling fan housing top, and several of the other styles were not big enough. (My fan housing is 6.5"+ a smidge). Super light weight, and pre-primed. Mine took ceiling paint well, in one coat, and dried quickly. I secured it with just some calk, and I further calked the edge, so it looks great now. I did look at the other, plainer one, as it too has a large flat area for the fan housing, but this one is not fussy at all, and from the floor, it looks nice, without being too fancy for the room. (Kitchen). Others said that flatter one was like a paper plate, too, and I worried about sagging. This one has sufficient detail, that it's not flat anywhere but the very center, and I don't believe sagging will be an issue. The calk should be enough to keep the edges sealed up.

Really pretty - spray paint adhered well to pre-primed surface

Very pretty. The details of the "flower petals" on the molding are very good (they are deep and nicely carved). I am going to have installed by the electrician along with a new light fixture. Two coats of rustoleum spray paint in white semi-gloss, and it looks way more expensive than it is. Nice item, but please be advised that it does not come with any hardware, such as finishing nails, etc. You will need to get those on your own. Also, some light fixtures require a longer electrical nipple when installing because the medallion adds width. You will need to get that at the hardware store also.

Nice product for the price.

I added a ceiling junction box where there previously was none. There was an access opening I needed for installation which I patched with drywall, but covering the joints would have been very difficult with my "swirl" ceilings. This medallion covered the entire patched area and adds a touch of elegance at the same time. It is decorative without being overly ornate and was sturdy enough for me to attach it with four screws snugged up tight.

Perfect!

I purchased 2 of these to cover some ugly holes around my ceiling fixtures. They’re beautiful. I didn’t even have to glue them, they stay up with the fixture attached over them. They’re very light weight and add an extra something to the space.

giving a nice even finish

The design of these medalions is lovely and very well executed. The construction is high density urethane foam. We chose to paint them a white enamel, using spray paint. The description of the medallions states that "they are fully primed and ready for your paint." They accepted the paint well, giving a nice even finish. However, the paint wouldn't dry. Two weeks after painting, they are still slightly tacky to the touch. I know this isn't the result of the paint we used because the protective plastic I used to collect the overspray dried within minutes. Is it possible this problem is the result of either the urethane foam or insufficient priming?

Extremely satisfied

We are very, very pleased it is solid, so easy to put up and most of all I didn’t have to paint it. The colour is the same as the white ceiling. It really dresses up the dining room. We bought 2 more to put up in the hallway and kitchen. Really recommend this medallion. Don’t buy cheap medallions, remember you get what you pay for.
