I wish it were larger

I love this for cleaning my brushes and sponges. I was washing them by hand and buying this def cut the time down TREMENDOUSLY! I just wish it were larger but that’s more of a personal preference

Gets makeup brushes clean

This makeup brush cleaner does what it says. It does take me a while to get my foundation brush clean - probably because I wait too long between cleanings. The handle is comfy securing the cleaning mat to the palm of my hand while cleaning. Good thickness to the mat - not too flimsy or stiff. It’s oddly satisfying to clean my brushes - love the varied textures on the mat. My only complaint is that the makeup (foundation) does transfer to the mat a bit and needs to be cleaned off but not a deal breaker.

Great brush cleaner

My 15 year old daughter loves this. She uses it weekly to clean her make up brushes. Easy and quick!

Works with dry brushes too!

I bought this on a whim on deep sale at my local drugstore. The directions for use are to clean your makeup brushes with soap and water and to rub them on this to get the makeup off. It definitely works as described. What's a really pleasant surprise, though, is that this thing actually works really well when you use it for dry (but with makeup on them) brushes. Have one great eyeshadow brush but you want the dark brown cleaned off so you can apply a soft silver? Rub your brush over this until it's clean. A big fluffy brush full of bronzer that you want use with blush? It works for that too! It works remarkably well as a dry brush cleaner. The silicone grabs the makeup when you swipe it over several times. I can't believe that e.l.f. hasn't marketed it for use with dry brushes. I've tried cleaning multiple, highly pigmented eyeshadows off of my middle-of-the-road brushes. There's no discernable color left on the brushes. Definitely worth the price!

Cleans everything out of your makeup brushes!

The media could not be loaded. I love the rich lather that only a small drop of soap was able to create using this thing! I provided a photo of my makeup brushes before. I also put up a video of the rich lather cleaning the foundation brush, and finally showing how clean it came out in the end! This is so sturdy and easy to use to clean even the thickest liquid foundation or other makeup products out of those brushes! It is important to have one of these instead of just using the palm of your hand, because it really helps agitate that stuck on product from deep inside the brush hairs, to make sure there is no build-up, and bacteria. I prefer cleaning my brushes with Dawn dish soap, or Dove Shampoo. It goes such a long way!
