Need to redesign
Looks nice and prestige, unfortunately, the instructions were very poorly written. Even the manufacturers had a difficult time explaining how to op[en the soap dispenser. Now soap leaks from the bottom after 10 months.

Straight shooter!
Looks pretty, but shoots soap straight out. Like right onto my shirt. Have learned to hold sponge in front of it to catch dish detergent. Not willing to change it out since it goes well with my faucet.

Need to water down / thin your soap. Does leak some
After receiving this and using it for about a year, the dispenser seemed to stop working. After reading some of the reviews I finally realized that you could refill it from the top which was quite a relief. And after some investigation as to why it wasn't working I had come to the conclusion since it was able to pump water that my soap might be too thick. Most soap nowadays is quite concentrated so this really isn't an issue. After I had thinned down my soap to about a 50-50 mixture, it has been pumping just fine. I noticed as other people mention in their comments that it had leaked a little bit from the top of the canister but not badly and really just some soap dribbling down the side that Harden before it got all the way to the bottom. However with the new mixture it will be interesting to see if it leaks out into my cabinets. The reports of the soap spitting straight out are very accurate and you need to be careful not to aim at yourself or push down lightly, which really isn't an issue once you get used to it. I have the brushed nickel look to mine and from the outside looks very nice. I would have waited it three or four stars if there was no leaking and it just took me some time to realize that I needed to thin the soap.

Nightmare!!!
I give it 2 stars because the price is cheap, otherwise its JUNK! Its all plastic, the bottom leaks, you have to call the Elkay to find out how to refill it and less then 8 months later the neck of the bottle broke in the actual dispenser while my husband tried to tighten if due to the leak!!! The customer service is awesome they are saying they will replace it but I see the same issue arising again!!

100% plastic
Material stated as being brass is in fact 100% plastic. The top is very difficult to remove to refill the bottle as it is not a threaded top but a press fit meaning you have to wiggle and force the top off to refill the soap. For anyone with a thinner metal sink this can result in warping on the sink rim itself. I had chosen this particular model for its design and claims of being made from brass. I dont see this lasting in every day use for more than a few months at best.
