I have owned this rack for two years now. Yes, if you put everything on one side, it will tilt. If you randomly put things in different places, you're likely to dislike this rack. If you plan a layout and stick to it, it really is a nice compact rack. My only complaint is the grid is not securely held in place with the tools Enclume provides. I wired the grid hooks to the grid with stainless steel safety wire after getting everything where I wanted it, and this is the only reason I gave it less than 5 stars. As you can see in the picture, it holds a lot of weight very well. These are all 2.5mm copper pans with cast iron or brass handles. We use them daily, and I really could not be happier unless I installed a counter-weighted lift so I could pull the rack down and put it back up easily. The height is adjustable, but I found I really needed a bit more chain that was delivered as my ceilings are more than 8 feet, so I got some chain at Lowe's cut to the length I needed. Because I knew the rack would be heavily loaded, I found the joists and installed the hooks directly into them. In two years, I have had zero issues with the rack, the mounts, or using the cookware stored on the rack. I could not be happier for the price I paid compared to the price of the 36" rack which would hold more but be out of place in my kitchen. If you are looking for a quality piece that will last a lifetime with zero maintenance (other than dusting), you would have a hard time finding a better deal.

Extremely Impressive Crastmanship

I purchased this, and another piece of Enclume for our new kitchen based upon the reviews. I passed up on several lower cost alternatives, due mainly to the reviews. I can report that I am glad I did. This piece is extremely high quality and it looks awesome. Whenever guests come over they are in awe of this piece, mostly because they can't believe I was able to hang it, but also becuase it looks so sharp. Installation was fairly eaasy, putting the actual rack together was a breeze, but placing the toggle bolts into the ceiling was extremely difficult. Without exaggeration, I went through 4-2 packs in addition to the 2 that came wtih the kit. The toggle bolts that came with the kit were of poor quality, my suggestion would be to have a few extra on hand. To be fair, the toggle bolts from Lowe's were of marginally improved quality than those that came with the kit. Once those were in, it was easy to screw in the hooks and hang this masterpiece up.

No ceiling mounts

It’s hard to hang your ceiling pot rack without the hardware. Thanks, Enclume. You should let your customers know before purchase vs a letter inside the box.

two anchor points, so will tilt depending on your pans

Nothing physically wrong with the product, just the design uses 2 anchor points instead of 4, which means that if you have one side loaded heavier than the other, it will hang at an angle. works, but looks odd.

Easier to hang than a four hook system of course, but you have to be careful how you distribute the pans and realize every time you use a pan the pot angles go awry. Almost more of a decorative presence, but looks great

Great quality, great brand!

Love my pot rack, just what I have been looking for. Great quality, and Enclume clearly stands behind their products. I highly recommend this brand. We had some issues hanging ours(stud, no stud), we called customer service, and they were awesome. They even sent us additional s hooks at no charge. Don’t think I will ever buy anywhere else.
