Top-notch wiha Quality

Works as advertised! The PicotFinish has a rotating top making it easy to turn any screw using the micro bits in the set. There is a tiny bit of play in handle when the extension is used but, not enough to impede the work. I recommend the GoBox Micro Bit Set without reservation.

Perfect little set

Wiha is the way to go. I’ve stripped several torx screws with cheaper, softer bits. These have worked every time

Couldn’t handle much torque.

Bit damaged from light use, not as high quality as other Wiha tools that I have used.

Two flaws in my opinion

I had to file down some casting seams on the handle portion. Also had to add a piece of foam to keep things from flying around inside, especially the extension. The legend in the top cover is helpful.

This is the basic version

There is something very important to know about this kit, there are two versions of it, they look identical but have one main difference. This red driver set is more of a regular precision kit whereas the set that has a yellow driver has an ESD rating. The yellow one protects against electrostatic discharge whereas this set doesn’t mention that feature. Because this set doesn’t mention any specific feature, I’m going to assume that it’s just a regular precision set. One thing that both versions mention is that they both have a PicoFinish design. I had to do some research to know what that means because I assumed it was the type of plastic used. PicoFinish means that these have a larger end cap and a collared tip with facets, the last part means that the tip is thicker and has that octagonal shape. My go to precision driver set is a generic $12 kit and there is not much this set does better. My generic set has more bits, the bits are made of hardened steel and the driver is fully made of metal. My go to kit also has the option to use the extension as a lever to give way more torque, I’ve used that driver to remove full size screws from wood. The bits also haven’t gotten damaged despite putting way more torque than a precision set should handle , especially the mini phillips head ones. The things I do like about this set is the tiny case, the case is made of metal which I assume is either steel or tin that is powder coated. I also like that the driver is made of plastic which should still be safer than using metal on most electronics despite not having an ESD rating. Overall the set is fine for what it is and the included sizes should be enough for most repairs. I wouldn’t totally replace my generic kit with it because I don’t think this driver could handle more torque than just precision jobs. For strictly precision repairs such as phones then I would use this kit, for more general repairs that need more torque and might involve some precision repairs such as PC work then I would use the other kit.

Great selection, handle not super stable

I love all the bits in this kit, though I do have a tough time with the handle— the extension is a bit wobbly, I’d expect better and the price point. The case and bits however are great, a nice kit aside from the handle.
