Great shower set

I will be remodeling my bathroom in April and will have pictures once this set has been installed. I like the look of this set. The pieces are pretty and the price is very reasonable for Hansgrohe. The quality of the parts feel don't quite as good as the Grohe items I've used in the past. On the other hand, this set is affordable and looks modern. I'm super excited about the tub spout. I've always lived in places with generic tub spots, but this one looks really cool. Of note, you will need to buy the rough-in kit to install the shower handle. Installing the shower handle is complex and unless you know what you're doing, requires a plumber. The rough-in parts aren't universal so if you want to change brands or even just move to a different line of the same brand, will require changing the rough-in part. Accessing the rough-in part can sometimes involve taking out tiles. Overall, this seems to be a good set and I'm super excited to use it for my bathroom remodel.

A classic from hansgrohe...

The media could not be loaded. This is a somewhat inexpensive waterfall shower set from hansgrohe, the classy German maker of plumbing fixtures for kitchen and bath. This is made for a simple shower, not a tub/shower combo which requires a separate tub spout and diverter valve (often located in the tub spout). hansgrohe stands with a few other manufacturers near the top of the value/quality ladder. In other words, they're not the most expensive maker of fixtures, but their fixtures can't be beat functionally—or in quality. There are more avant gard designs, there are more unique looks, but hansgrohe isn't beaten on quality of valves and finishes or longevity of fixtures. You can spend more than the price of this whole set just on a hansgrohe shower head and it will have a fully finished metal back unlike this set's plastic back. It will also be larger. But it won't be functionally better. If you like the look of this set and you don't care that the part of the showerhead no one ever looks at is plastic, get this set. It's a stellar set. hansgrohe 04957000 Vernis Round Shower Set, Chrome

This Hansgrohe Vernis shower set is very well made and has a superb finish. The weight of the tub faucet alone is amazing and you know it's high quality. If you like the simple modern style, this may be a good choice for you. Don't forget the rough in box that will need to be purchased separately.

Simple and Elegant rainfall shower package from a trusted name.

This simple setup is a blend of modern cues with elegant styling. Deep polished surfaces, have a crisp clean look to update and refresh any shower. Doesnt matter if its a new build or a remodel, hansgrohe is a brand with years of experience manufacturing bathroom fixtures overseas. German design and quality, at an affordable price. This 4 piece set (shower head, shower neck, trim, and spout) offer a simple, classic solution to your bathtub/shower area. This set provides good value, and will last for many years to come.

well made and to the point!

Simple and high end but not flaunting - in matte black with a super modern tub spout included with diverter but rough in is extra so I am buying that next. One thing at a time for my bathroom spiff. This brand seems to know how to make simple both elegant and enduring.

Very nice shower system upgrade

Our new renovation had the bathroom destroyed, so we basically have to rebuild it. I choose this for the shower as it is not only modern, it will go well with the rustic decor in the home. It was easy to install as I used the old model as a guide when I ordered it and with the use of plumbers tape, there is no leaking and awesome water pressure. Very happy with this system, highly recommend.
