Thickness is not as indicated
The specifications indicate a thickness of 1/2." Upon receiving the thickness was found to be about 1/4." Perhaps the 1/2" specification was for both stones, but if so, VERY MISLEADING. I just received these and am pretty sure that they will work well if taken care of and used in a standard oven. I wanted a stone for camping and was looking for something more robust with greater heat stability.

No longer burning pizzas in our toaster oven
Have used a large stone for about 30 years and love it. But find ourselves using the convection toaster oven more frequently. I bought the set of 2 as one will go in our motor home to use in the convection microwave, and maybe even use on the Weber Q or the Green Mountain pellet grill as my larger stone fits in neither. We find ourselves using it for all kinds of things now - heating up rolls or French bread. Used it to heat up a piece of quiche. Keeps stuff from burning and give a nice finish. I'm hoping that it will be like my old one and turn dark and shiny-smooth with years of use. I put 3 stars for "easy to clean" as, well, we don't really "clean" it, as in washing, but just wipe it off. It's not glazed, so don't expect to clean it like a plate. As I said before; I'm hoping it will cure in like a cast iron skillet.

1 star out of box
Awful right out of the box. Unlike my Pampered Chef stones, this stone is not unstick right out of the box. I tried to “season” them on my own as someone suggested to slather it in oil and bake in the oven on a very high heat. That didn’t work so I gave up and put it in the cupboard. After a few months, after hunting for other products and not finding anything available in my area, I pulled them out the cupboard and tried to “season” them again. I read that someone else “seasoned” their stone with a pound of bacon. I covered my stone with probably a half pound a bacon, I just put the slices of bacon all over the stone, put it in the oven on a really high heat with a pan one rack down to catch any bacon grease. That pan was unnecessary because zero grease dripped off the stone, the grease was completely absorbed by the stone. So I decided to do the process again, this time I used a combination between the bacon and some breakfast sausage. Mind you these are all the toppings I was going to put on my pizza. This time a little bit of grease actually dropped off of the stones. So now it was time to make a pizza to see if my “seasoning” efforts had worked. It worked! The pizza just slides right off the stone. Also my homemade bread also slides right off the stone. So now I give these stones five stars. So I averaged that out to three. If they had just put a note in the description that these stones needed to be seasoned and a suggested way to season them I wouldn’t have had all these problems and would’ve given it five stars.

Great for cooking pizza and anything else that doesn't fare well on the grill
Pizza is so much better on a pizza stone and on the grill, too! Further, these can be used to cook anything that doesn't do great on the grill - fish, veggies, bread, etc. These also work in the kitchen oven. Actually, I put one in my grill and one in my oven.

The right size to fit on my smoky Joe barbque grill!
I cooked pizza on the stone on the grill. Worked perfectly.

versatile ceramic plate.
They work okay. They are very thin compared to other ceramic plates, but they do the job. I'm using one as a heat deflector for my Kamado joe jr and for that purpose it seems to be holding up fine. Took it up past 700F the other day and still works fine.

Get those pie bottoms brown
Glass pie plates have difficulty browing. I pre heat these in a super hot oven, move them to the side, bake my pies for 15 minutes (not on the pizza stones) then move them on the stone for the rest of the bake, this I do to prevent thermal shock and shattering the glass pie plates (I keep my pies in the fridge so they glass is cold) I haven't used them with pizza yet but my fruit pies at Thanksgiving were perfect, sturdy and brown bottomed

Charged full price for used item
This purchase was a gift from a registry and I was sent a used item. A sticker on the outside clearly indicates this was a returned item and resold at new price.

Amazing!
These stones work so well on the bbq I was blown away! We had a pizza party on the second weekend. Dough cooks crispy and crunchy. Use parchment paper with flour to wiggle the pizza onto each stone. You can use a regular hamburger spatula or pizza peel to rotate it and remove it after. Highly recommended instead of buying a smaller gas pizza oven for outside. Try this first!

Make sure you use parchment paper!
These 10 inch pizza stones are the perfect size for our large toaster oven. The pizzas cooked through, and the stones enhanced the flavor of the crust. However, make sure you have a layer of parchment paper between the stone and your pizza or you'll be chiselling off cooked-on crust for weeks. One bit of pizza was directly on the stone, and remained stuck there. It isn't Pampered Chef, but then the stones cost a lot less too.

Average at best
I bought this as a replacement for a many years old 9” pizza stone that broke. Unlike my old stone, the first pizza stuck to the new stone and I had to chisel chunks of the crust off. Second pizza did the same despite putting corn meal directly on the stone (and watching it burn immediately). Flipped the stone over for pizza #3 to see if it worked better on the other side - no difference. That one stuck too. I’m an experienced pizza stone user and have never had this happen before. Perhaps it will improve with seasoning.
