TOO Plush? For Me, I Think So...

A while back, (May 2019) I purchased three different brands of washcloths (face cloths) trying to find the "best" for me. Amazon were the cheapest and, not surprisingly, they are thinner and lighter weight than the others. I don't know what the gsm for those are, but I would guess it is most likely 500 or less. For reference, the mid-priced cloths are 650 gsm while the most expensive are 900 gsm. I was surprised to discover I like thinner cloths best for washing my face. The super-premium cloths are simply too thick and heavy when they are wet making them difficult for me to wring out. I also don't care for the patterned band on these because it reduces the "useful" area of the face cloth. I understand that it matches the hand and bath towels, but proportionally, that takes up a large portion of the washcloth. They are okay for use when bathing. However, for me, they're best for absorbing lots of liquid for drying up spills. I can dry my entire body with one of the hand towels, and my body isn’t small by any definition. Like all our towels, (and why I buy only white) I wash in HOT water with regular detergent and NO FABRIC SOFTNER yet they've remained soft. I’ve had no issues with seams coming undone nor have any of the loops pulled out; they still look like new. So, that's what works for me- I hope this helps you decide what might be best for you. You should also take into account that I am 60+ with mild arthritis in my hands, so young folk's experience may be different. Signed—shocked to find that a face towel actually can be TOO plush.

Fantastic Deal!

The quality of these face cloths is exceptional. They are thick and plush. The colour is a rich, dark black. I've washed them and they remained soft and absorbent and true to their original colour. Six for 19.00 is an outstanding value. I would highly recommend.
