Great tea set

My granddaughter loves this tea set. She serves tea all day. She is 2 and know the colors of the different pieces. The pieces are very durable and functional.

Vibrant colors, non-toxic materials

I work with children and this dish set is great for both boys and girls. The colors are bright and the plastic is durable. No sharp edges on any of the dishes or utensils. Even a 1 year old took to this set immediately. She was drawn to the colors and the pieces were easy to grasp. The teapot lid does come off, so the teapot can be filled with water. This is a great addition to kitchen play sets and for pretend tea parties. I use this product with toddlers to kindergarten aged children. I contacted the company Educational Insights to inquire about toxic ingredients since it was not labeled on the box I received. This is the response I received from the company on 4/25/16: "Thank you for contacting Learning Resources. We are firm believers in safety first. All of our toys pass rigorous independent safety tests before we release them into the market. All of our products are non-toxic, phthalate-compliant, lead-compliant, BPA compliant, proposition 65 compliant, no mercury and comply with U. S. safety laws."

So great! I was surprised

Perfect present for my 2 year old son. He wanted to play tea party so bad but I didn’t want to get him something girly so this was perfect. Upon arrival, the set looked a little cheap, but it’s surprisingly durable and has held up well since we bought them a couple months ago. My son is hard on his things. Lots of biting and throwing them around and nothing has broke or cracked yet. He plays with them for the most part all day every day so to me that’s pretty impressive. For the price point of it, it’s worth it for what you’re getting. I definitely would buy them again for someone else as a gift.

This is my 18 mo old granddaughters favorite toy!

I love this little tea set. More importantly, my 18 mo old granddaughter adores it. Right now we pour water into it and since she is learning to drink without a sippy cup I don't worry about spills. She adores pouring her tea and drinking from the little cups. I measured the cups and they hold 3 oz. It's a perfect little size for her and since I don't put much water in I avoid a big mess. I do find I need to keep a towel handy for now, but overall, we have blast with it. We've used the little plates to serve animal crackers or rice crackers but those were much less of interest to her than pouring the tea and drinking it. This set seems very durable, it's easy to clean, is super functional, and is practical for tots. It's loads of fun and play for us and will be for your kiddos as well!

Very nice & sturdy, perfect size. Highly recommend

I bought this set for my granddaughters, ages 3 & 6. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy these dishes are. I also discovered that my 6 year old has the very same set in her campus club schoolroom, which in itself attests to the hardiness of it. The pieces are a very good size, the teapot measures approx 4 1/2" high x 6 1/4" from apout tip to outside edge of handle. Cups are 2" tall x 2 1/2 wide not including handle, plates 5" in diameter, saucers 3 7/8". All pieces, including the utensils are high-quality and functional for real food & drink. I also think the price is very reasonable for this sturdy set, and last but not least, my granddaughters love it. I will be looking for this brand again when planning another purchase for my grandchildren.

Great size and colors for young grandchild.

This was a gift to my 2yr old granddaughter and she immediately went for the tea pot and cups. The material is durable and I like the bright color mix. It will complete her 'kitchen'.

Excellent, quality toy

I wanted a gender neutral toys for a boy or girl . Buying toys from amazon saves a lot of time and money. The quality surpassed my expectations. I usually buy wooden toys but it seemed silly to have a wooden tea/dish set since you could never play with it with water or real snacks. I was expecting a cheap, plastic set, but this set is preschool or day care quality. It can take a beating and won't break. Excellent, quality toy. Buying games and toys from here bring back some wonderful childhood memories. You cant beat the price and the time it saves.
