PCOS lifesaver
While I’ve only used this once since receiving it, this is worth the money already, even if I only get a few uses out of it. I *WISH* I would have taken a before photo, but I didn’t. I had a full on PCOS soul patch growing and this took care of it in like two minutes flat. I followed other reviewers and switched the direction and angle I was holding it and it got nearly all of those thick black hairs. It’s not great on baby hairs/peach fuzz, if that’s what you’re after, but this gets those big black hairs that you spend so much time plucking. Honestly if this lasts me 3 more uses, I would be happy for the price that I paid for it, because waxing all this PCOS facial hair is at least double this price.

Works to clean a womens face.
I bought this for my wife when her old one quit working. It works alright but it is not very wide so it takes longer for her to get hair off her face. For the price it is not a bad deal.

Overall, a Decent Product
First, this item is less than the cost of one waxing session so be realistic - it will not suddenly, painlessly, effortlessly remove all your facial hair unless you're some lucky girl with just peach fuzz. Most of us looking for items like this are not that. I do have PCOS and endure the eternal struggle with thick facial hair that can grow in black. I tweeze and tweeze for hours and it could start coming back in within 24 hours. It's brutal for my skin, tiring, and embarassing. I have used an epilator for years - not on my body. The hairs become ingrown, but a BODY version on my face (not supposed to but, oh well.) It has something like 60 tweezers and cost quite a bit more than this. It's losing its precision and still managed to leave some hairs at its best so I started shopping around for a new facial epilator. This one had some of the best reviews and wasn't a financial risk. I can use it on my face - upper lip, chin, cheeks, jaw line, and under my chin - and get most of the hairs. I still tweeze a few and have a couple that the device "trims" (a pain). I go all around the areas, pink side up, for about 20-30 minutes. Yes, my hair may grow back quickly, but it's not as horrible as having spent hours tweezing. Does it hurt? Well, since I've been abusing my face for years in the effort to be a beard-free woman, I only notice tiny prickles (which for me are a satisfying sensation that means another hair is gone.) It does still hurt a bit more on my upper lip but everything - even tweezers - do. For me, worth the small amount of money. Be sure to play around with it and find the best way to line up the tweezer heads on your contours.

It’s alright
It was so difficult to understand how to use this. I wanted a smaller epilator so I could use it on my face since I have pcos and all it does is pull on the hairs lol. Takes a while to understand it and get the hang of it. I found it’s best to have the pink side up and/or move it in circular motions or from side to side while going against hair growth. Will be using a better epilator tho! Haha

Must have for facial hair
Great compact product and effective in getting rid of facial hair once you get the hang of it. You have to use circular motion, instead of up and down. It paid for itself after just once use. Threading and waxing treatments are more painful and costly!

Godsend. Quick hair removal. No bumps for me.
This was a godsend for me! Detailed review to follow (and note: use it -against- the grain of your hairs!) I took a risk because I usually avoid products with a lot of back and forth reviews but I *really* needed an epilator. As someone with PCOS it has just been so tedious to pluck my chin hairs every 2 weeks and waxing is also a lot of work and so messy. I have around 50+ individual thick hairs on my chin (yes like pretty much a scraggly chinbeard) and this epilator made SHORT work of it in only like 5 minutes, NO bumps! It got all of them! And I never usually pluck my lip hairs but I ran it gently over my upper lip as well and it got all those as well. If you do end up having bumps it's not necessarily an issue of the epilator. If you're not used to plucking or waxing at all and this was your first time? You may get bumps. If you have sensitive skin, you may get bumps. Even tweezing can give you bumps as oddly, this happens to me from time to time with tweezing and -didn't- happen with the epilator. When I get bumps from tweezing it goes away in a few hours. My suggestion before you jump to an epilator is to get yourself used to actually tweezing all the hairs. You'll know what kind of pain to expect and over enough time, it will barely hurt. For me this is the case. Because I'm so used to waxing and tweezing, the epilator didn't hurt very much though it was kind of scary to turn on and use the first time. The epilator did also pick up my extra fine soft thin facial hairs. If it's not picking up these hairs for you, either you're not using it against the grain of your hair (basically if your hair is laying downward, you need to hold the epilator upside down so it's scraping upward) or your hairs are too fine or possibly oily. --Lastly, there is NO reason you should be using this device for an hour! I'm so confused as to how or why someone mentioned that in their review but if it doesn't seem to be working after at least a few contacts with your hairs, don't rub it all over your face for an extended amount of time. You're going to burn the gears out and also possibly burn your face from the friction. In any case this is an amazing and affordable product that has greatly cut down on my grooming time and I would absolutely purchase it again. My chin was completely smooth afterward. In my opinion it was worth the risk of it possibly not working and I'd suggest anyone at least -try- it.

This product has changed my life. I have PCOS with acute Hirsutism. I have fairly thick facial hair on and under my chin. I have lived with this embarrassing issue all my adult life. I used the Remington EP1050 Smooth and Silky Battery Operated Facial Tweezer System on my face for about 10 mins with a few breaks in between. I was able to remove most of the stubborn hair with minimal to no pain! What!! I had to examine the hair to see if it was being pulled out of the root or just cut. It was pulled right from the root. Unbelievable! The fact that I could remove most of the hair with little to no pain is amazing. I highly recommend this product. This is my first review on Amazon. I chose to write this review after just one use of this product. Time will tell if the product will last long with regular use.

It is a good product but not the best one
I tried the product a couple of times and it is easy to use. It works to remove some hair off my face but not 100% of them. The finest hairs are still on my face, around the lips. But overall for the price it worth it. I do not feel pain when I use this product, just a few stitches. I do not recommend spending it often on the same spot on your face. It is also good to moisturize your face afterwards, as it exfoliates your skin. The product is noisy and works with ordinary batteries.

It's useless facial elipcator!
It is not powerful to remove any fine short facial hair at all. I am very disappointed and wasted my money on it before I saw the philips brand facial elipcator at the shopper drug mart. Omg, philips always makes a extremely high quality elipcator. So don't waste your money on this Remington facial elipcator at all.

what a great gizmo! absolutely love it! I developed facial hair growth after coming off the pill and post- menopause it got worse. wax is okay but doesn't get some of the finer hair growing under my chin and upper lip. this gadget whisked them off in one go! so happy I bought it. Remington is a name you can trust.
