Perfect for dog crate

Bought this water that just hangs over the crate. Bowl is surprisingly deep enough to hold 8-10 hours worth of water for my dog. Bowl can easily be replaced if you desire a deeper bowl. My dog likes to hit the bowl and the hanger pops off. Would recommended using a zip tie or small bungy cord to secure it in place if leaving the hanger in the crate over long periods of time.

Great quality, easy to use, way too small

30 oz sounded like enough for my 65lb English Shepherd but it isn't enough at all. He should have at least 40 oz capacity. This time of year the dogs sleep in their crates for almost 12 hours because of the long nights. The bowl itself is very easy to use and clean, and not in the way in the crate at all (partly because it's so small!) I love how it hangs on the side to keep the floor dry and uncluttered and easier for him to drink from. 20 oz sounded like enough for my 50lb English Shepherd but it isn't enough at all. Doesn't sit flat in the holder

The top lip keeps the bowl from sitting all the way down in the holder, it hits the cage. Hope this helps.

Very very easy to knock off

I have no idea how this product has so many good reviews. This thing is utter trash honestly. Bowl seems to be good quality and all but the design is not there. I knocked it off multiple times with my own hand just trying to put it on and put the bowl in. My dog would knock it off in no time at all in her crate. I didn’t return this because this is the second crate bowl I’ve tried and don’t wanna keep up the pattern, I just used rubber bands in a few places to secure it and it stays now but there is no way it would stay without them. I really don’t understand all the positive reviews lol does your pet not move around in its crate or cage a little bit? If it does, you WILL come home to spilled water or food

Good idea but has fallen off several times

I didn't like how easily it can be knocked off. My dog isn't the most tidy eater so there has been several times his food was knocked unto floor and spilled everywhere. Not a fun clean up for sure. But when it did work it did what it advertised.

Not good for messy puppies

My younger dog knocks this off very easily - other than that this is a super product (just wish it was a bit more sturdy) It works fine for my older dog!

Not suitable for inside crate

This is a very nice stainless steel bowl, but I had to return it because it would not work for my dog’s crate. The hooks were not spaced the same as the wires on the crate. But, even if I could hook it in, my dog most likely would have been able to tip up the bowl and spill the water inside and out of the crate because there is nothing to hold it in place except the hooks. Probably better for a cat or rabbit. The only other thing would make it work better if it does fit your dog’s crate, would be to put it on the lowest possible bar so he can’t nose it up, tipping out the water.. Not secure enough

The idea is great but the product is flimsy. I bought this to give my rabbit water since he doesn't like drinking water from a bottle, so once I installed this I can say that he can easily grab the little bowl from the ring and throw it around spilling all the water, I then decided to tap solder the bowl to the ring so it would stay in place but that also failed and he ripped the bowl and ring from the cage, bending the little flat washer (pics included), maybe having the bowl clip into the ring as other bowls on here would work better and also a different locking mechanism would probably work. Yes my rabbit's teeth are ok, I checked them.

Nice, shiny bowl for my cockatiels to splash in

I use these bowls for my cockatiels and linnies to drink from, which always leads to them soaking in the bowl. The bowl is of perfect size and stays put no matter what shenanigans the birds get up to. Clean up is easy with soap and water or in the dishwasher. This was the best price I could find anywhere for this size and quality.

Fits what I need - not amazed.

This has been a good option for me due to the size, but over all it’s not too impressive. Thankfully my pup isn’t too rambunctious in his crate, or I think we’d have some spillage as the bowl just exactly fits in the bracket and the bracket just exactly balances on the crate bars. But over all, I’ll keep using it. I was also excited to discover that a recyclable margarine container fits into the bracket for travel or when I’m washing the bowl.

Easy and Convenient

My chinchilla is an evil little mastermind. He finds absolutely any way to flip his bowl so we have to give him fresher food, as he prefers to not eat leftover pellets (like??). The only others I could find that didnt enable his flipping were plastic, which is bad because he'd chew it. So, I purchased this and I was very happy with it! He can't flip it (or hasn't figured it out yet) and it's exactly the size I was hoping for. Would definitely recommend! (also easy to install and easy to take out, which I can't say about others)

Perfect for ruthless cat

My cat always knocks his water bowl over and spills every where. I had to save him from himself otherwise I’d come home to a cat without water and a wet floor. Bolted it to the wall now he can’t flip it over. Me = 1 Cat= 0
