Puzzle not like the cover.
The image looks like a low resolution image of the original painting was blown up and over saturated with color. All of the knight’s armor is almost black rather than steel gray which hides all of the gothic details that make the painting so great. I’m sure it was done to make it more challenging, but it makes for a poor image. Very disappointed.

Ridiculous tedious puzzle. The colors and textures make it very hard d to don’t distinguish what area of the puzzle almost half of the pieces would go so that many times end up just trying pieces everywhere until it fits. The pieces s are also very irregular and seem to go but in the end need to be moved. I finally got to the end only to find one piece was missing. Very disappointed to be missing that lat piece, if not for that I would have left a better review.

Turned out awesome. Lots of fun to do.
Turned out awesome. Lots of fun to do. my only complaint is that other than the border pieces every piece is the two knobs two holes so not a lot of variety in peace shape which can make things difficult in the dark areas. Also sadly I lost a piece into the abyss of my house but I’m still going to frame it anyways

Beautiful but Not at all Easy
This is a beautiful puzzle; however, it is not cut in a traditional way and has lots of curves, some of which are divided into very small pieces, etc., so it is very hard to work. If you like to set up a puzzle to work on now and then or are a master puzzler, it might work for you. My teen granddaughter who usually puts puzzles together pretty fast, has spent a number of hours on it so far, and I, who am an average puzzler, have spent an hour at a time to find just one piece. There are still two edge pieces we haven't found, and we usually find those right off and without too much trouble. I'm not sure I would purchase a Eurographics puzzle again unless it was maybe a 300 piece, but definitely not a thousand piece puzzle.

great puzzle
This puzzle has the feature of not having just the same old normal shape pieces, so if you are looking for an unusual puzzle this is a good one to get.

Beautiful
I bought this as a present for my mom. She once had a poetry book and this picture was on the page of her favorite poem. She was thrilled to get it as a puzzle.

Loved this. It is so beautiful when completed. It is also very difficult!

Very Challenging!
This is a truly challenging puzzle. It looks as if it should be easy, but the pieces are small and so very difficult to distinguish or even place int he right area of the puzzle. If you like challenge, you will like this.

Very nice. Plenty of interesting shapes
Very nice. Plenty of interesting shapes, cut well, good color, and holds together really well as you're assembling it -- if you try to slide bits of it along, it doesn't crumble. Eurographic does a good, tough puzzle. Some pieces fit easily into each other despite not being actual matches. Some might find this frustrating, as it adds to the effort it takes to put the puzzle together. I find it part of the game, creating more of a challenge.

A bit frustrating
My wife loves the painting/image but is finding the puzzle a bit frustrating, partly because it's so many pieces but partly because some pieces are cheaply made, making it hard to tell which go together.

Rewards an eye for detail
There is so much detail in the original painting that it is rarely necessary to resort to the 'try-every-piece-in-every-place' method that is usually required for large swathes of field or sky. On the odd occasion when I was left with a few pieces with no distinguishing features, I found that due to the ever-so-slightly individual shape of the pieces, I could work out which piece went where before trying it. That's not to say it's an easy puzzle; far from it. But for an experienced puzzler, this one is a joy to do.

Challenging but worthwhile
My first Eurographics puzzle. Bit daunted by all the odd shapes at first but then totally addicted. Quite a hard Puzzle but worthwhile. Stunning picture.
