Perfect as a camera/accessories bag

Several years ago, I purchased a Nikon D-90 camera package that included a nice and fairly expensive camera bag if purchased individually. As I've added lenses and other accessories, I needed to replace the bag in order to accomodate the extra equipment. When I priced camera bags, I found them outrageously expensive and not much more practical than the bag I already had. I then looked at backpacks and found this one at a fraction of the price of a dedicated camera bag. Though I had some misgivings, I ordered it and when it arrived, I found it to be perfect for its intended use as a camera pack. I added a 12 x 12 x 4 in. piece of closed cell foam into which I cut custom holes for my camera and lense, four additional lenses, batteries and charger, two flash attachments and a flashlight in the main compartment. The backpack itself offered excellent padding at the back and I added another piece of closed cell foam (12 x 12 x 1 1/2 in.) on top. I was especially pleased that I was able to include a cutout for my 650mm reflector telephoto lense which had always had to travel in a separate container if I traveled with it at all. With all of the major equipment included in the main compartment, I was then able to use the outside compartments for additional equipment such as camera manuals, a card wallet, electrical cables, batteries for remoted shotter release and flash attachments, lense wipes, USB cables, USB card reader and other "stuff." The exterior straps allowed the attacfhment of a small tripod on the outside of the bag. On a recent cruise of the Italian Amalfi coast and a land tour of Rome, I added a handheld GPS, a Kindle Fire, a guidebook, a walkie-talkie and still had room to dump all of my pocket change, keys, headphones, lighters, etc. to use as a carry-on for going through security. With it fully loaded, the bag weighed about 35 pounds but still was functional as a sling bag and was easy to get on and off as a backpack. It was completely comfortable and functional as a backpack/camera bag on a three-mile walking tour of Rome. This is a quality daypack and well worth the investment as a camera pack with the minimal modifications I made.

Strap broke 4th time using it.

Seams started to separate by the 2nd use. Shoulder strap broke on the bottom while at the airport on 4th use.

Love It!

I really am so glad I chose this bag pack. It is so sturdy and well made. It has lots of pockets that are ideal size and placed strategically. I use it for travel or for sleepovers. The only issue I’ve had was zipping one of the side pockets and it’s due the fold over that covers it is sort of stiff, only because it’s new and the fabric needs a little breaking in/softening, if you will. But hey, that prevents thieves from getting into my side pockets when I travel. Also, I have the red and it is such a pretty red! Really stoked about this purchase. The price was incredible too! Supper great quality.

Best backpack for a good price

I'm really happy with this backpack. I received it a few days ago and I like the quality of this backpack. It has lots of pockets to put all my books and equipment for my computer and school work. I don't use a laptop but I do carry lots of cables and audio equipment with me. I got mine in a nice navy blue color and the quality of the stitching on mine is good. I've read review on another site that state there's a quality control issue with some of their backpacks, but mine is good and if there's any issues I'll post an update. The zippers are functional and dont feel bad at all. The smaller pouches on the back have pockets on them and inside of them, while the main compartment and the side pouch are, each, only a single compartment. The straps and area that covers your back is padded and feels decent. Very good and large backpack for what it cost. Just be sure, as with any product, to check the quality of the one you get. No problems so far. Overall, for $25 you can't beat this backpack and I love mine. Lets me get my work done and carry everything I need for my daily tasks. I'm glad I purchased this backpack cause the prices other brands want are ridiculous. I'm very satisfied.

Huge Daypack - Large main compartment (no separate laptop or tablet storage area)

I bought this for use on vacation and all day outings. The majority of the backpacks I looked at have an area for your laptop or tablet, I didn't want that. I wanted an old school, big backpack. Most of the time I am not carrying a laptop or tablet. Even if I am they laptop is protected by being closed and the tablet is in a case...why waste valuable space by designating an area just for that! I have a 2 year old and this works great to hold the iPad, Mobigo2, plus jackets, external usb charger for cell phones & iPad, or anything else we may need. There are 5 external pockets of various sizes, one of which fits a 1 liter size bottle of water. There is also a mesh water bottle pouch which also fits 1 liter size bottles. The shoulder straps are comfortable. The waist strap is not padded but I do not use it very much. So far it was been to Mexico where I dragged it all over. I would absolutely buy this again.

The bag is fantastic, but...

...they lost it! I had to order it again. It took about 3 weeks to finally get it, and that's when I still had a Prime account. But, I have no complaints about the backpack. I've used it on trips, and I've used it to haul groceries home from the store (you can fit a 12-pack of soda in one of these, and still have room for more!). It still looks great and nothing has ripped yet. So, Backpack = 5 stars. Delivery = 1 star.

Excelente y práctica mochila.

Excelente mochila. Tiene múltiples compartimientos y es de gran capacidad. Es la segunda mochila que compro de este modelo. Es el único equipaje que utilizo en mis viajes. Por Europa durante 15 días y esta mochila me es suficiente. Evito así documentar equipaje y la espera para recogerlo en las bandas. A máxima capacidad cabe perfectamente en el compartimiento de los aviones. Recomendable 100%.

Poorly Made

This backpack is very poorly made. While it is larger than an average backpack, it can't handle much weight. I've had this for less than a month and I'm already seeing small holes in the bottom of the bag, and one of the shoulder straps has come completely detached.

Meh ... Already worn out

So so. Lots of pockets but zippers are rough. Only a few months of medium duty use and already bottom is worn down so I can see light through the fabric. Best for light duty (no laptops or heavy books). Would not buy again.

Excellent backpack...

a great backpack...lots of room and good quality..it was delivered within expected time frame. I believe its an excellent value if you can purchase the backpack under $30 (like i did)...

Perfect!

I need a backpack for a few days trip to Iceland and this backpack is perfect for the job - roomy enough for some clothing, lots of pockets and compartments for extra items. Will suit just fine as carry-on luggage and no big suitcase to haul around.
