Groovy outfit! Great for 70’s - 80’s theme parties.

I love the color and it fits true to size. I went to two different parties with this outfit and everyone loved this outfit on me! Definitely a conversation piece.

Looked Great!

Ordered this to go to a 70’s party for adults with disabilities. It was a hit with the staff and party goers alike. The only two problems with the dress, were it was too short, and a bit too tight in the stomach. Other than that, it was good.

Poor Quality & Material

The fabric was flimsy and poorly made. They didn’t stitch the headband. It was just a straight cut no stitching at all. No shape and loosely fit. Yes, I returned it

Runs very small

I wear an XL and this runs very tight. Needed to go to a plus size, which I wasn't happy about.

As close to "what you see" as any item can get

I imagine that most people would order this dress for a 70’s party or for Halloween. In my case, I ordered them for a 70’s party. I am 5’7” and 130 Ibs. Based on other reviews, I was not sure if I should order a Small/Medium or Medium/Large. I ordered the Small/Medium, and it fits perfectly. I want those who see this review to know that 5-7 more pounds would have been the breaking point. I would comfortably say that anyone over 140 Ibs should go with the Medium/Large. If you are under 105, this dress would likely be too large in even the Small/Medium. The only thing that I did not like about this dress is the cut, but I wouldn’t expect much better for a well-priced Halloween costume. It “bunched” a bit in the back around my bra, and I am not an overweight person. My only other caution for tall or non-petite girls is that this dress is short! I chose to wear it with bell bottom pants to be safe. I felt comfortable all night, and I received compliments regarding the bright colors and headband that comes with it. Wearing this as a DRESS is not a good idea for a tall, conservative girl. But, GREAT for the adventurous, petite or short-legged.

Colors on the fabric I chose were different than what I received.

The hot pink color in the picture was actually a maroon color. And the red in the picture is actually an orange color. Thankfully I didn't buy any accessories to match! I will still keep/use the dress because it does look "psychedelic" Not that great of quality but not bad for the price. The headband is only a strip of material. I am using this outfit for a mystery dinner at a friends house. So we all have roles we play. This will work perfect for what I need! The story is set in the 1967 and I am an actress "wannabe". I hope the hot pink wig I got still looks okay with the print.

CUTEST DRESS EVER

When I first opened this costume I was really uncertain about whether or not I was going to like it. But... it’s adorable and I am so happy I went with it instead of other dresses I had also purchased. I would say to beware of two things - it has a very synthetic smell and it’s very short. I’m 5’2” and 132 lbs ish and it JUST covered my butt. I wouldn’t recommend bending down LOL. So size up if you want a looser fit, but if you like it snug then get your regular size :-)

Nice costume

This is a very nice costume that I bought for my wife for a 70’s birthday party. She is 5-7” 135lbs, we bought a medium and the dress is quite short, so there can be no gratuitous bending at the hips unless you are wearing short, shorts. What we did notice is that when we unpacked the dress it had an unpleasant smell, my wife soaked it in detergent and it was gone.
