My cats are more stylish than GEM
Our cats are bad, evil actually. When your not looking they will scratch the couch, jump up on the counter tops, and gnaw on our rolls of toilet paper (nothing like Swiss cheese to wipe with). Despite all of the above, we love them but when we bought a new living room set something had to give and declawing was not an option. We've been using softpaws for a while now and they work wonderfully. I'm able to apply them myself to our three cats, and most of the time they are lined up waiting for their turn. Here is my technique: First I trim their nails, and let them run around a bit. Then I sit down with a few slices of lunch meat cut up into very small strips. The first sucker that runs over is put on my lap in a sitting position. I get their nails ready, fill with glue and apply one at a time, giving them a bite of lunch meat in between each nail. The only downside I have is that I normally either put too much glue or to little on. Because of this I really have to monitor their nails and make sure the caps have not fallen off or stayed on for too long. If they have then the nail looks uncomfortably long and can start curling around - at this point I trim the softpaws down to make it more comfortable and the cats normally get them off.

Great Solution for Furniture and Introducing New Animals to your Household
Having recently introduced a puppy into my household that already had a 4-year old cat, I was worried that my cat, though good-natured, would possibly hurt the puppy with his claws. My cat allowed me to place these on his front and back paws while he slept. I don't recommend putting this on your cat if he/she is awake. Of course, the demeanor of each cat will be different. That being said, my cat allowed me to place these on his newly-clipped nails---giving me the peace of mind that my puppy wouldn't have his eye scratched or worse. It has now been roughly 8 weeks since I began this process, and I have allowed the nails to fall off and naturally sheath. Fortunately, both my cat and dog are now much more friendly to the extent that my initial worries are no longer present. I'm uncertain if I will continue using the nail caps in the future, but, for now, they have served their purpose well.

A day at the spa
Oh what a day it was to for my dear kitty's to get a manicure with a vibrant green color. After seeing this product for $22 at petco I jumped on my phone to see what Amazon had to say. Excellent price and purrrrfect to keep my new couches from being clawed at. It may be user error, but some began to pop off after about a week, I think I may have been to nervous to use as much glue. Next time though... next time :) My cat's were okay about me putting them on, one better than the other, but no pain to them, no irritation, no negative response to the product having been applied. They are happy, maybe even confused for a day because the scratching post just didn't work the same; but, not a barbaric experience whatsoever and I would suggest to those pet owners who are tired of replacing couches.

Glue is hardened
I’ve been purchasing Soft Claws brand for about 6 years now and really haven’t had any complaints. Until now. The glue in the past two orders I placed (large green and large blue) was completely hardened and unusable. Very disappointed.

Soft Claws
So I got these for my four year old cat, we adopted him this past fall and have never gone through the nail clipping process. At first he was running away, then he calm down and let me clip one paw. If your cat can withstand the clipping part then the rest should be a breeze. Simply fill it with the glue (I don't use the attachments), and slide it on. Although, if your cat is fidgety, this can be tricky. He let me put on two, and I tried the other claws but he would not stay still, so the glue got all over his paw. I safely and quickly removed it, but be careful it's basically super glue. The two I put on are holding up pretty well, I'll do some more tomorrow. They do there job, from what I can tell, and he's not pulling them off.

Cute little Green Claws
It was easy to put on if you have one person holding the cat and getting the claws to flex out while another person preps the cap with glue and then putting them on the claw. The only problem is that while they good, maintenance is a bit of a chore. You have to check their paws if the cap fell off. And the WILL fall off. It started becoming a frequent thing, like almost every other day a cap would fall off or the cat somehow got it off. One way or another you have to check the claws, otherwise even if one cap fell off they can still scratch up furniture. If you love your cat, this is probably no problem to keep up with.

Great product
These have stayed on for over 8 weeks. First one lost this week. I see I will be wishing there were more tips for the glue since I am replacing the tips as they fall off. Thought we could get away without doing the dew claw... amazing how much damage one claw can do. Put them on all 10 front claws. Easy to do. Distracted cat with treats after applying and he forgot all about them. Never saw him chewing at the caps or trying to remove them.

Now they are best friends. My only advise is to buy the ...
Got a new kitten and my older boy got really upset. I was so afraid that he would hurt her. Put these on and they gave me piece of mind. Now they are best friends. My only advise is to buy the size your cat should be. My boy is about 15 pounds but he should really be about 10 or 11. and I ended up getting the large. They were just a tad to big.
