Better than Expected

I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality, ease of assembly and color from a chair in the box bought online. This chair blew my expectations out of the water. The chair arrived packaged in a box that wasn't difficult to lift and move. It was adequately protected in shipping and had no damage. Once I began assembly, it was much easier and quicker than I could have hoped for. In less than 10 minutes, I had a lovely, quality chair to sit in and enjoy. The chair is comfortable and true to the color advertised. I'm so pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone nervous to purchase self-assembled furniture. It's a great addition!

Cute chair with simple assembly!

This was such a simple chair to put together! The color is a perfect light taupe and it came with an unexpected, but super comfy, and welcome, lumbar support pillow. I can definitely attest to how easy this is to clean since my one year old immediately got banana on one of the arms, but it easily wiped off and didn’t stain. For the size, this chair is a great accent chair width for a corner of the living room but I could see it also working standalone in a bigger space. Definitely a great chair.

Simple assembly, comfortable with a modern look

This chair is surprisingly comfortable. Assembly was very easy. It took about 20 minutes. The chair's size would be accommodating to most. It is on the firm side, but not so much so that it is uncomfortable. It's actually very comfortable to sit in. The fabric is good quality and has been pretty easy to spot clean. Overall, this chair is simple, well made, modern, and comfortable.

Nice chair + easy to assemble

This chair from Flash Furniture appealed to me because I'm in the market for some furniture, and I love the mid-century modern style. This chair comes packed in a relatively unexciting brown cardboard box. Inside the box the seat/arms, and the back part of the chair, and a pillow (not pictured in the product photos) are packaged together and wrapped in a cloth wrap that kept them safe in transit. Underneath the seat/back, is a cardboard wrap which contained the 4 legs for the chair, and the hardware/tool needed to attach the legs to the chair. As far as "build it at home" furniture goes, this is about as easy as it gets. You just stick a wooden peg in each leg, stick the leg in the bottom of the chair, and screw it in with a hex wrench. If you use the included hex wrench to screw it in, it would be a time consuming task because you have to screw it many times and you can only move the hex wrench a few inches before having to take it out, reposition, and keep screwing. I noticed this right away and got my screwdriver set with the same size hex attachment and just screwed it in instead, which was a far more pleasant experience. Getting the legs all assembled that way took probably 5-10 mins. Aside from that, the back just slides in to the base of the chair and sits there. So assembly is very simple. So some thoughts on the chair. For starters, it looks great. It feels comfortable to sit in. The legs look very nice too. The material of the chair does not feel like a typical furniture fabric I might expect, it has a bit more of a plastic-y feel to it, which I suspect is because of it's "commercial" grade, it probably is going to last longer and be easier to clean. I'm OK with that. One other thing that occurred to me, if you plan to eat snacks on this chair, take a look at the arms. The way the arms are designed will collect any crumbs in those crevices. They don't go down too far and could be vacuumed out though. If they were flat, that wouldn't be a problem, but maybe the design wouldn't look as nice. Overall a nice chair.

Nice looking mid sized chair

I really like the clean lines of this chair. The color and fabric looks business like. The chair is fairly comfortable with semi firm foam construction. The chair did have a couple faults. The sewing on the front of one arm was bad. I was able to correct it but it shouldn't have been there. The upholstery wasn't the best where the seat bends in the front. It's not that bad but I noticed it. The assembly was easy and straightforward with the supplied tool. I am happy with its looks and comfort.
