In spite of size confusion, it's a beautiful costume!!

This fit my teen daughter perfect, but I only gave 4 stars because we didn't know what SIZE to expect, it just said STND in the ad. When it arrived, it was marked 14/16. Wasn't sure if that was girl or adult, even though the ad stated "Women's," it must have meant girl size, because my daughter is definitely not a women's 14/16. But otherwise, it fit her like it was meant for her & it's a beautiful costume that was exactly what she wanted. Thank you! Side note~ Not that this has to do with the quality, it is what it is when it comes folded up in it's package, but expect to do some ironing if you want it to look nice, as it's satin on the skirt & is heavily wrinkled. A dry iron on satin setting worked good. Using steam or water will leave water marks, Trust me.

5th Grade Colonial Williamsburg

Purchased for 5th grade Colonial Williamsburg event. My daughter is big, for being 10. She is about my size, 5'2" and 110 lbs. It was a bit big on the top, but definitely would not fit an average adult that weighs more than about 130-140 lbs. I did trip it up about 4-5". One thing I hated was how wrinkled it was. I had it hanging for about a month and then spent about 20-30 minutes trying to iron out the wrinkles. Still wasn't great. But, was perfect for what she needed it for.

Looks great, but sleeves keep ripping

My daughter wants to be Angelica Schuyler from Hamilton for Halloween. This dress is pretty perfect. However, every time she puts the dress on the sleeves rip in another location. The material needed better seam allowances. The sleeves don't even appear that tight on her, they just fray at the stitches and the seam rips out. She's 5 feet tall and about 115 pounds. The dress length is just right. The bodice has plenty of room.

Run Very Small

Bought one size bigger, but should have gotten 2-sizes bigger, that was the only reason for returning this product.

Very poor quality

We bought this dress for my daughter to wear in the school production of Beauty and the Beast. When she tried it on the first time, the lace on the hand of the sleeve tore. I assumed it was something she did and I hand repaired it. She as well as 5 other girls purchased the exact same dress for the school musical. By the end of the 1 hour dress rehearsal all of the girls had torn sleeves from the elbow down to the wrist ruffle. I have spent 3 hours cutting and tacking the sleeves up on this dress. All the girls now have to have short sleeve dresses because the material shredded and not on the seam. This is very poorly made and I do not recommend buying this dress!

DON’T ORDER

Looks cheap and not what was shown in picture. If you want a crappy looking last minute costume than this is perfect! But not if you want to look nice.
