Beautiful, heavy, real

The main purpose for my purchase was to use as a backdrop during product photoshoots for my Etsy shop - but I also love baking and have always wanted one of these for rolling out dough. The first board I ordered was a dark gray color with no white at all, which was totally not the look I was going for, so I sent it back and requested one that was more white. Thankfully the sellers chose to accommodate my request and I ended up with a gorgeous board with real marble white color that looks amazing in photos and on my kitchen counter! You can see in my photos how lovely it looks. Thanks so much to Fox Run for making such a nice product! Oh, one caveat about the 16 x 20 size is that it is VERY heavy, so please keep that in mind if you are older/arthritic and would need to move this product around a lot in the kitchen. It is a giant chunk of marble, after all!

Works great for roti/paratha and pizza

Its big, non porous, easy to clean, and works great for making big roti/paratha, pizza for a hungry guy like . instead of making many small ones, I m content with making a fewer big ones :) . mine with a small chip on one edge, but doesn't affect functionality for my purpose. came packed in three layers of boxes. its heavy, non porous marble, with rubber feets on one side glued well. happy with the purchase.

Well Packaged

These come extremely well packaged. I ordered two initially but one was whiter and one was really gray. I wanted coloration/patterns to match a little more closely than the first two did, so I took a chance and ordered a third. I was able to find two of the three that worked well together for a project I was doing. All three came in perfect condition - no chips, cracks, or breaks.

Nice cutting board

Nice lovely cut of marble, looks nice. Edges are finished nicely and beveled. Only complaint if I wish the pads on bottom were better quality and fixed to the board better

Very nice board. Decent price.

There are reviews of this marble board arriving broken. I think that for in order for this to happen, it needs to be dropped off the roof of a building. It came very well packed in polystyrene foam, double boxed and it arrived in one piece. I'd rather see it packed in something a little more eco friendly, however. The board gets 5/5 stars. The polystyrene takes one star away for a four star rating. Aside from this, so far it's been a valuable addition to my kitchen.

Returned snd replaced

I’m was disappointed. I purchased a large marble pastry board and it was well packaged by Amazon and Fox Run. This was a gift for my husband’s 69th birthday. It had a crack that went through the entire chunk of marble and due to the slight yellowed discoloration, appeared to have been repaired at some point(?). We we’re able to return it and replace it with another board, and it arrived in time for DH’s birthday. It is beautiful and flawless.

Excellent

I purchased this since I make breads and pastry doughs and read where marble is beneficial since it keeps the dough cooler. Well it definitely does and makes it easier to handle. It’s well made and has nice beveled edges. It came well packed and had no chips or cracks. It’s a really nice color too. The only drawback is that’s it’s heavy and not something you want to be carrying back and forth, so it would be best if you have a area where it can stay out all the time.

Good quality, more grey than white

This is a beautiful marble slab, good quality. I’m actually using it as a tray on my kitchen table. The only complaint I have is that it is more grey than white.. I would have preferred it to look a little more like the pic.

Beautiful and non porous

A solid cutting board, very durable, but the finish will scratch if you cut too hard on it. The feet are a bit slippery but they are functional. It is heavy, I find it difficult to lift up so I can slide off vegetables into my pot, but that is my only complaint. It is easy to wash and won't hold smells or stains.

Its slides on every surface you stand it on, so it slides all over the surface of wherever you stand it had to buy matting to stop it doing so

Marble Pastry Board

Perfect for those lacking counter top space. I simply place it on my dining table and go! It also makes a lovely display area for food photography. It is quite heavy which is to be expected given the size and thickness so having to put it away each time is a tad inconvenient but otherwise it's a great product.
