Okay for a strapless; wouldn't wear day in and day out
This bra is probably the best I'll get in strapless, but it's not perfect. For some background, I wear regular Freya Decos in 28FF and 30F (I have a 29" underbust) and love them; for new bras, I fit the first hook for 28FF and second for 30F, which typically stretches out a hook (to 2nd on 28FF and 3rd on 30F) with wear. I first ordered this in 28F, noting that reviewers said to order a size down in the cup. Don't do this. The cups were tiny and squished my poor girls. I also could barely get the 28 band hooked on the first hook without hurting my ribcage. Back it went for my usual size, 30F. This fits better, but right out of the box I could hook it on the third (tightest) hook. A little alarming, but I bought this solely for a wedding I'm in this year as I virtually never wear anything else requiring a strapless bra, so I'm not as concerned with the band stretching out. I thought about exchanging it for a 28FF, but I think I'd have the same band problem I did with the 28F. It just seems weird to be that the 28 would be too small and the 30 would be a bit too big. The cups are fine. Don't expect the kind of shape as the regular Deco, but the support is great for a strapless. It does not hold my breasts up as much as a bra with straps, which I really don't like, but maybe the dress will help with that. I feel a little saggy in this bra. However, I did the jump test and this bra rode down just a little bit, but I think that has more to do with my breasts being slightly different sizes and that one is rooted slightly lower than the other than the fit of the bra. It definitely didn't seem like I'd have a wardrobe malfunction dancing. I have not yet tried this bra on under a bridesmaids dress so I can't speak to how it works under clothing. The gore comes up higher than on the regular Decos, which is uncomfortable for me as it sticks out from my body, but at this point I'm pretty convinced strapless bras aren't meant to be comfy. Overall I love Freya as a brand, and I think this is the best I'm going to get in a strapless bra. It seems like it'd probably hurt after wearing it awhile, but I'm also a girl who puts comfort over everything else (hence the never wearing strapless things bit) so I will at least be comforted by that fact that this thing won't be falling off my body at a wedding.

Pretty good bra, the price is just steep.
I was recently fitted for a 26E, so I have been on the lookout for a bunch of new bras to upgrade from my old ones. Seeing as how that size is pretty much impossible to buy, I was given a few choices to try out. My first one was a 28DD, the size I ordered this bra in. I was told the band would be small, the cups would be too big/small, etc .. I read it all about this one. After putting it on, it fits like a 28 should. It's snug but not too tight to where it hurts my ribs and I can't breathe or move. I am using an extender for the first few times wearing it so I can get used to the fit, but overall it's not too bad. The overall quality of the bra is quiet nice. There are 6 little areas/hooks for you to place the straps, 2 on each cup and 1 on each side on the band. Very handy for those needing a better fit for their girls, plus I can convert it into a racer-back if needed. The straps are not big and bulky, no bigger than what you'd see on most common bras. They're not irritating, are made well, and just a tad stretchy. They can be adjusted to fit however you need them to be (but don't wear them too tight!). As for the cups, they are not padded (they're about 1-2 centimeters thick) and are seam-free. Just enough there to give you a little bit of support. When wearing mine, there were no wrinkles, just a smooth look. I noticed a little bit of "boost" for my girls when wearing this bra, even though I am a little fuller on top than the bottom. It has a nice little plunge and everything seems to be made well. The wires are a little stiff, if that makes any sense? They're doing their job, but once again I am also trying to get used to the fit so it may feel a little tighter than what I am used to for the time being. Freya bras do tend to run a little pricey (well, most good bras do run high, but for those on a budget it's a little steep), but for the quality and sizes, I think it's well worth it to have something that actually fits. I'm not going to order this one again any time soon, but at least I do know that if and when that time comes when I need a new one, I can rely on having this certain bra to turn to.

My Normal Size Way to Big! Exchanged Size Fits Perfectly and Lifts Nicely! SIZE DOWN CUPS AND UP IN BAND!
I first ordered a 38 G I normally wear a size 36 GG give or take a little in other Freya and Panache bras, but the reviews said to go up a band size because it was too tight. I normally read reviews before purchasing bras but ignore the cup size being to large complaint because it seems when ever I followed the advice about too large of a cup I ended up having to return it for my usual size. So I ignored the cup size complaints but went up a band size which did cause me to order 1 cup size down to make it even. Always remember if you change the band size you have to change the cup size too. If you go up a band size you go down one cup size, if you go down a band size you go up one cup size for proper conversion. 40 FF - 38 G - 36 GG - 34 H is all the same cup size. I wish I had listened to the reviews! The cups were huge! They completely engulfed my breasts all the way up, over, under. sideways, the bra gaped horribly, my breasts wear swimming in it. The band was correct but the cups were just massive. I ordered a 38 band and two cups down to a F. The 38 F band was slightly loser but the cups were perfect, they lifted, separated and supported and gave me nice cleavage and most importantly did not show under the dresses I bought it for. I know it seems crazy because all my other bras are nowhere close to an F but that seems to be the way this bra is cut. Order 1 or 2 sizes down from the cup and 1 size up in the band. This seems to be a tricky Bra to fit so you may have to exchange, good thing it was prime! But the end result was worth it.

Not true to size
This bra is way too small I have bought many bras from this brand in the same size and have never had this problem I am a 28 E in us the waste band was super tight where I could barely put it on. The cup was way too small. I was falling out of it all over the place. It was more like a B cup rather than a E cup

Straps are poor quality
straps seem a bit odd, great cup size and amazing to find a bra in this size !

Get fit in a Freya bra before you buy
I used to work as a lingerie fitter and we could barely keep common sizes stocked it sold so well. It really is the best quality strapless you can buy for the D-G range that isn't completely full coverage. It fits true to size, but if your torso is an odd number in circumference you might find the size down pretty tight until you break it in (I sized up in the back, and sized down in the cups to offset the tightness). If you're looking for clevage your breast tissue needs to be quite full on top to be able to properly fill out the cup, so if you normally wear balconette bras you should be fine. Also, If you haven't been fit professionally don't assume your size based on Victoria Secret sizes which uses American sizes vs. Freya which is UK sizes. Most people wear the wrong size so do yourself a favor and get fit in a boutique (but try to buy something too because showrooming is bad form).

and the band was the right size and felt comfortable. Just to give others a sizing idea I'm ...
Aside from being really small,it was made well, and the band was the right size and felt comfortable. Just to give others a sizing idea I'm currently wearing a 32DDD(or 32E) Victoria Secret bra, bought this one at 30F and the cups were significantly smaller than my current bra, was more like a D cup. Sending it back now.

Perfect every day bra
I am 5’2 around 120pounds with a 30FF bust. I have a couple of the lace freya fancies bras and they are my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE but I have never had a smooth moulded cup that fit me well since my torso is very short, LET ALONE a strapless bra that supported me. This bra is such a good every day bra, it fits perfectly true to size and works great with the straps on aswell as off. I generally have issues with one cup gapping because one boob is fuller than the other but because this bra has convertible straps, off setting them a bit fixes that perfectly. Highly recommend this bra and the soft cup lace fancies bra for large cup/small band sizes!!!!
