Great Little Air Fryer

This is my first air fryer and I am very happy with it. We have a small kitchen and limited cabinet space so I had been very hesitant to step into the Air Fryer World due to many of the air fryers' size and shape. This little bright red cutie fits neatly into a small space in a cabinet. We are only two in the family - plus a cat - and so we do not need a large air fryer. In the month that I have had the Dash Tasti-Crisp, I have had great successes with add on's to our regular meals such as sweet potato fries, falafel and spring rolls. I have found that if I need more food than fits in a single layer, I cook it in two batches, keeping the first batch warm in a conventional oven at about 225 degrees. Since the Dash cooks things so quickly, I have never had the first batch suffer in any way during its abbreviated stay in the oven. I haven't tried cooking a full meal for two in the Dash, but for one person (or the cat) I am sure that would be possible.

Great for truckers

I am an over the road trucker and finding decent food is hard to do. Fast food gets old fast. I was prepping meals and heating them in a microwave but got tired of that so I bought this. All I can say is, oh my god what a game changer it has been. I can now have fresh cooked food on the road. I wish I’d have bought one of these a long time ago.

A great little Air Fryer! Works well and very quiet!

I wanted a small to medium size unit in addition to my larger air fryers. This little DASH unit has impressed me thus far! Did some breaded Okra and it came out nice and crispy! Cleanup is very easy.

Works great, but...

It works fine, presets are good, but the grill plate has a big hole in the middle & foods fall through. For example, if I dice a potato to air fry & cut the pieces too small they will fall through the hole every time you shake. The hole is slightly larger than a quarter.

Small and efficient, love it!

One person air fryer. Heats up quick and takes up little space (paper towel roll for scale). The digital panel doesn’t like moisture (kind of like a phone screen) so make sure your hands are dry. As the instructions say, make sure the back of the fryer is at least 6 inches or more from a wall, outlet or other items because it gets out (exhaust).

As described

I’m still trying to work out the best foods to use in this air fryer, mozzarella sticks, turn out great, breaded shrimp not so much. But it could be all me because I’m not used to using an air fryer. This is my first one. It is easy to use, I just have to figure out which foods work best.

Perfect size for 1

I purchased this air fryer for my grandson’s college apartment. It is easy to use (he is not much of a cook), and the compact size doesn’t take much counter space.

Works! If you shake the contents!

Got it at a great price used - like new. First time I turned it on, it made a terrible grinding sound after 5 mins. Stopped it, took it apart, tightened all the screws inside and voilà! Works like a charm! Things get knocked around in shipping… I need a small model that fit under my 12 inch high cupboards. This fits. It’s small, out of the way, sleek looking with the digital display and so easy to use/fast cooking. I just wished the capacity was better but I understand why it’s not. 5 stars for me.

Air fryer power but small in space

I love air frying but the machine I had was taking up all of my available counter. This smaller version is a god send. Perfect for two people and less than half the space. And it is so easy to use with digital controls Love love love it.

Great appliance.

This is so perfect for a family of 2. Does all veggies so great. Baby potatoes done great, roasted. Fish and chicken really good. I have recommended this to small families, very compact and east to use and clean.
