Great jacket! Was on the water in the rain forb5 hours not a drop made it through. Size is true. Size is not true for bibs unless you plan to plan to stand all day.

If your plan to use sweatshirt under go a size bigger

I'm 6' tall 245lbs and I ware sweatshirt under rain gear 2XL fits perfectly if this help with your order. I am impressed with jacket it's light weight and it does keep you dry from rain. The material feels like gortex well worth the price

Wrist cuffs are tight

Love it, but I had to cut 50% of the wrist cuffs off so it didn’t squeeze my wrists so tight. Fit is small

Mom in her 80s digs this Spacey Tie-dye like raincoat

The media could not be loaded. To be honest, I was kind of hoping since this is meant to be a men's size large that it would fit me because of the tie dye killer design of it. But my hips are still too big to fit, in this one anyway, I guess. That's okay, the plasticky raincoat material would have made my skin sweat anyway haha. I do love the Kryptek Neptune as they call it color though. I think it was just a little bit too out there for my dad though, because I let him decide with my mom of course which of them would get it. And he automatically said it would be my mom. Which is actually great, because she's petite and slender, so the fact that the lower part is not wide enough for some womanly quote unquote hips is fine in her case. Plus it keeps her warm from the wind and the coastal fog that we live in. And she can never have enough different kinds of coats in our opinion haha. Although my dad might take my grandson fishing (just as he's done with my kids) if he does that he can use the black raincoat type coat jacket that I got them the other day. This FROGG TOGGS FTX Armor Premium Waterproof Rain, Fishing Jacket is way cool though. It's actually coated in Teflon, which you know is the stuff that I've only heard of it being on pots and pans before. But I guess that helps keep the water out. It's neat how the sleeves have Velcro on them so they're adjustable. Once my mom found that out she enjoyed adjusting them a few times in one day. ???? But it would be handy to make it bigger if you want your sleeve to go over your gloves and then close them up tighter with the Velcro. As you can see from the photo it has a really nice Hood too. Very well made, good quality.

High tech rain jacket

I go on long walks almost every morning and I don't like to let the rain keep me from going out, so I especially appreciate a rain jacket that works well. And this one surely does that. It's a thoughtfully designed jacket of medium to medium-light weight. If it's quite cold, you'll need to layer up underneath this coat, but above that range you'll be fine in this jacket. It has a generous hood that will fit over a decent sized hat and give good coverage. That's important to me because I don't want my bluetooth earbuds to get wet. It seems pretty breathable and the fabric is rated to shed rain will. The cuffs have a cuff closure for a good fit and beyond that there's a velcro adjustment at the end of the sleeve. Zippered pockets are a must and this jacket has three with pulls. If I could add one feature to this jacket it would be an additional upper pocket. I like the quirky pattern on this jacket, but it may be a bit much for some. Overall I feel comfortable giving this a five star rating.

Some manufacturing issues but overall a nice coat

As a swim coach I often get caught on deck in the rain. Although the swimmers are already wet, I prefer to remain some level of dry. This is my first rain jacket of this type, and it's impressive. I normally order jackets a size up but didn't have to do that in this case . . . it fits over my clothes without issue so I would say it runs true to size. This arrives bagged in plastic and there was no smell when opened. I love the pattern and it actually is quite flattering. The material is a little crinkly but not compared to the old plastic jackets that people used to buy. The interior is comfortable. There are a lot of little details here that I really like, including the velcro front that covers the zipper. The hood is comfortable while not obstructing vision and still keeping me dry. My two complaints are that there are some hung threads. Although the listing says sewn and taped seams, they aren't all. A coat this price shouldn't have seam issues. Second is the cuffs. The exterior cuffs are adjustable but the interior ones are not and I find them too snug.

This things bada$$!

The material feels truly superior to the common windbreaker or raincoat due to how lightweight and fine the stitching is. The print is really sweet as well. Love the zipper quality and many features to create a good seal in times of wet weather and keeping warm. My favorite feature is the inner sleeve which appears to be neoprene but lightweight and super comfy. Really looking forward to seeing how it does in cooler climates as the weather conditions change. It seems that it will do perfectly for layering and hiking as well! I personally got it for myself and like my stuff loose so I typically wear an xl in womans and this fits a bit larger than I wanted but it will have room for undergarments so I'm not complaining. I didn't take into account that mens sleeves usually run longer as well so it should fit men who usually wear a large perfectly! I'll definitely report back.

Amazing Protection From the Rain

This is an incredible rain jacket. It will keep your nearly completely dry even in the worst and heaviest rain. The seams are beautiful. Not only are they taped to prevent any chance of leaks, they are completely smooth on the outside to allow the water to run off smoothly. The Kryptek Neptune pattern is really cool. It is a bit less subtle than it looks like in the pictures. My wife and daughter thought it was a bit over the top but my adult son and I thought it was really cool. Overall very happy with the "FROGG TOGGS Men's Standard FTX Armor Premium Waterproof Rain, Fishing Jacket, Kryptek Neptune, Large".
