Okay for what they are
So I bought these to do pressure washing services with and drain cleaning and the material is not quite what I thought it would be it reminds me more of the material than are on the kids toy shelves. I thought it would have been a little bit of a heavier material a little bit thicker.

Wear Wisely, Pack Carefully
I love being outside. Consequently, I find 'foul-weather-gear' indispensable. In such context, good gear is paramount in my consideration, and I have always found 'Frogg-Toggs' an excellent choice, especially if you know how important preparedness can be. It's like the Norse say: "There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing". Yeah, leave it to our northern-latitude forebears (mine, anyway) to observe such a common-sense axiom. While one may spend unearthly sums on pricier labels (a fool and his money, if you will) you aren't likely to find better value. Everything wears out, and depending on the abuse you dish out, some things will last a lot longer with a modicum of care. I love this line of gear, and feel much better about wearing a$40 jacket and pair of pants out than some $200 jacket that requires repair after my first crash, well, I still crash, and jackets are pretty easily ruined in such an event. Get out there, get dirty, get wet (on the outside, anyway) and have fun! That's why this gear's around. No regrets...

Works well at keeping rain out - some tradeoffs with it... read inside.
I was torn between a 3 and 4 star review on this product. In some respects this product is without question 5 star, it works just as it promises at keeping the rain off of me, and does so VERY well. In some respects this is a 3 star product, it does not feel comfortable and the material simply feels like a cheap reusable grocery bag... Perhaps I am being too difficult on the product, but I figure it is best to be fully transparent in the review process so that you as the potential buyer understands the benefits and downsides to the product. If you're looking for pure waterproof pants, these are GREAT, I wore them on a day of fishing where we received over 1" of rain and my shorts underneath stayed bone dry, for that I am totally thankful I have them and will be using them in this capacity from here on out. As far as wearing these anywhere but a camping, fishing, outdoors, event I can't see wearing them, sure they weren't meant to be stylish, and I get that, but overall the quality of the material simply feels cheap, I am not saying that is, but it feels like it would rip in a second if I managed to scrape it on a branch. Also this material is LOUD, you're not going to sneak up on anyone while wearing these pants, if you're going to be going hunting I would consider other options. Further the sizing on these is big, I presume this is to accomodate wearing other clothes underneath, which is fine, but I am 6'0" and I had to roll up the waist a bit to ensure the bottom of the pant legs was not dragging, not ideal by any means.

Fits nicely and is waterproof
The item is not as described. Pictures clearly shows that the leg cuffs have zippers and there are cutouts to access your pants pockets. The ones I received had neither. They only had Velcro straps for leg cuffs. As far as size, I am a 38 with 32 inseam. The XL fits the waist well when worn over pants. The leg length is way too long. I would guess it is a 36 inseam. Material label says it is 100% polyethylene. It feels like a reusable grocery bag. Appears to be functional but not a fashion statement. I did not test it for waterproofing since I was returning it. Update Oct 2021 Upgraded to 4 stars from 2. It looks like the description has been updated, so I bought another pair to try again. According to the description, XL has a 34 inseam, which is about right since it is a little long for me. I did test it for waterproofing ( wore it while powerwashing several items) and my pants stayed dry.

Waterproof - YES! Comfortable - Eh.
Much like many of the other reviews, I found these as a cheap option to provide waterproofing - I ride a scooter to work, and my primary concern was the wheels whipping up gross Chicago water all over my work pants. These did just the trick! They kept all the water/gross Chicago sludge off my work pants on a rainy day. And when they dry, I can just shake them out like a dusty rug and they are back to brand new! Now, the downsides: -They run very large. I look like MC Hammer in his parachute pants. -They are waterproof, which keeps water out, but keeps SWEAT in! I'd get to work BOILING - this material is not breathable at all. -The material is very weird - it's not like the typical water-resistant material. It's more like a cardboardy type material with a layer of coating on it. For the price, it's a great option! I used them through an entire rainy season in Chicago and they've kept me very dry!

Sturdy, yet Lightweight
These rain pants seem to be made of more durable material than what you find in a retail two-piece rainsuit, yet it is still very light and more breathable. They fit well, and they are waterproof so far as I've used them. The legs are easy to fit over shoes or boots and cinch by velcro straps on the ends, which is my only complaint, because some type of elastic, zipper or snap would make a more stable and predictable runoff channel to keep water out of your footwear.

Great for off roading
My husband has bought this product to wear over his pants when he is on his ATV. He loves them, they keep him dry and his pants do not get all muddy when he out on his ATV and in the mud. I have washed them 3 times already and I have had no problem with the way they wash. I do hang them to dry i have not put them in the dryer. If you are out for the day on your ATV and don't want your clothing get muddy I would buy them. Also they fold nicely to put in your cargo bag for the next time you need them.

Buy them now
Stops the wind and cold 100%. I use them for winter motorcycle riding in Southern Ontario. Will buy again if these ever wear out, 2 years in and they are still great. Taped seams mean no water sneaking in like EVERY other pair of "waterproof" pants I have ever had.
