Top insulation

Fit just fine. I gave a 4 rating cause I was disappointed that it didn't come with enough to insulate the top of the heater. Stupid me though it did and cut some extra off then fell short to go around. So I used up all the tape and made my own insulated top from the hardware store. Kinda wish I had done this in the winter when my A/C isn't running 24/7 so I could see if there is a difference in power bill. The closet I noticed is cooler than before.

Insulation

I had some holes I needed to fill without buying a roll of pink. This was just right. A little spendy per ounce but if you only need a little bit as I did, it was a great buy.

Does not some with top cover

This is just a piece of fiber rectangular insulation with plastic sheeting to warp around the heater. I was expecting that it would come with a cover for the top of the water heater where most of the heat loss is at.. Also the insulation material is loose that caused respiratory issue due to breathing in the fiber. For the price it is ok but if I had known, I would have paid more for something better.

Perfect

Just what I needed in my well room. My plumber said why not when I asked him to put it on when he changed the tank. It takes less energy to heat the water. Perfect for our northern climate.
