This will melt and does not work with hot fryer.

I guess looking back on it, it should be obvious. However I am new to cast iron and bought this brush to clean it. I put it in the pan while hot and it melted like butter. It ruined the pan. If you only clean the pan while cool or maybe when a little warm, maybe it will be okay. I am going to get a new pan and go with a stainless steel brush. The fact it ruined my pan is what really bummed me out. I tried to clean it, but the melted plastic just went into the iron along with the vegetable seasoning. While I got most of the plastic out, I just cannot use the new pan either and trashed both the pan and this plastic brush. I really do not see how this can be marketed for cleaning a cast iron pan. I though cast iron is supposed to be cleaned hot.

TLC for your cast iron

Another great product that I didn’t know I needed until I saw it online somewhere. Works great with just hot water and the scrubber tip gets rid of all those stuck on bits. Makes cleaning cast iron easy and you’re not damaging your cookware

Perfect!!!!

This classy tool was exactly what I needed. I wanted a scrubber that wouldn’t require me to get my hands black to scrub my cast iron. It gets the chunks that are stick to the pan without damaging the seasoning! It’s fabulous and I love it!

Love this brush. My mom has The Lodge brand brush and I thought it was really nice but this one beats it in my book. Great quality. Nice stiff bristles for a good effective scrub. The scraper on the front is great. The fatter handle makes it easier for my hand to hold. Definitely recommend.

Only brush I use for Cast Iron!

Overall: Great product, perfect for cast iron products! I've had this for over 6 months with no issues. Hands down would recommend this to anyone who has cast iron anything! Pro: The bristles are still nice and stiff, no visible ware and tear, cleans cast iron with ease. Con: A bit expensive for a cleaning brush, but honestly worth it to keep good quality cast ion in perfect form.

The brush works great on cast iron pan

This is the best brush I have found so far. The previous one from Lodge broke very quickly, and it is a little too soft to clean the pan. This one does the job really well. However , one of the bristles can out the first time I used it, and I was concerned they would all come out. I have used it hundred times since and it is still very good.

Gets the jobs done

Great little brush for your cast iron pans, or really any pans. They say the handle is bamboo but to me it feels like plastic. The bristles themselves are the same kind of bristles you'd find on a toilet bowl brush, not wire or hair. After several uses, everything is still intact
