The best adjustable rake.

The Gardena system with the handle and the various attachments is unusual. However we have found it to be very reliable. After 25 years of hard use we just replaced the rake and handle. We are pleased with the tools and have other heads for the handle.

The angle of the Handel helps my hands feel better while raking .

I like it but find that it’s a little to springy at its widest setting.Its different takes getting use to .

Not worth the trouble but made it work

This seems like a sturdy device, but I wouldn’t buy again, as I cannot use it. It doesn’t come with a handle & that will set you back About $40, plus a 2 month wait. I got creative and made a handle from an old sponge mop. I took it apart, Stuck in the rake & filled in the space with epoxy, then tightened a clamp around it once it dried. So far so good! Additionally, Careful with the price changes, bc by the time it got to me, it was around $8 cheaper (including tax). I asked for an adjustment & was denied it. I recommend you not deal with marketplace .. they always try to get you.

Great fun, the Combisystems! I say again.

The rake is excellent quality, wonderful how you can adjust the width! and takes up little space when you take it off the handle. I've even used it without the handle. Wonderful products by Gardena. One thing I just learned: Gardena does not always have replacement parts, and they upgrade a lot. The attachment is very different and will not fit any old handle. But the quality is very good, and with care should last a good while. I hope

Heavy duty, collapsable, and stores easily- won't rust. I use it, take it off the handle, store it on a shelf with its companion tools and enjoy the space it saves. The width adjustment is good for several jobs that used to take other tools to do. Gardena seems to have their act together. I have only had one tool break, an abused hose nozzle, and the company replaced it at no cost to me.

Very sturdy rake.

This arrived immediately. I was shocked. I had to wait for the handle but it's like someone drove it over like the Amazon commercials. Very sturdy. Time will tell how long it lasts but the handle being ergonomic does feel better if you have oak or maple trees to rake.

Actually kind of glad it died

Purchased in April 2015 and got a little over 6 years. Great concept, poor execution. The biggest problem being that the friction knob being plastic wears down quickly and loosens easily, so that it quickly goes from full extension to narrow. You then have to keeping adjusting it every two minutes. Center tines pulled out putting this one to bed. At least I have a couple of other tool heads to keep use of the pole, and will probably go with a dedicated steel tine rake. Otherwise it got a lot of use as you can se by the nubby tines. It was just frustrating to use.

Excellent Tool!

This is a great product! It has worked so well for the purpose that I use it. It is comfortable and durable. I like the ability to adjust the rake head tines and change out the parts on the handle. Excellent! Very pleased!

Worth the extra cost

Well constructed and well worth the extra cost to get what I wanted. Adjustable width is really useful and does a great job in clearing cuttings/ leaves. Not as wide as some but fine for me.

No pole included!!!

You have to buy pole separately so becomes very expensive compared to others. Doesn't say this anywhere in description? Would not have purchased otherwise. Will be returning.

Its durable

The width of the fan is adjustable, it is stainless steel ,long lasting and robust. It replaces my previous one which got lost.

Klasse Rechen

Wir brauchte ein Rechen und da wir schon jede Menge Handgeräte von Gardena besitzen haben wir uns für diesen entschieden. Das schnelle Wechselsystem vom Stiel ist super einfach, es rastet schnell ein und ist somit im nu gewechselt. Grade wenn man Geräte besitzt die man nicht die ganze Session über benötigt ist dieses System klasse denn man brauch nocht für jedes einen eigenen Stiel. Die Rechenfedern sind schön massiv aber auch nicht zu hart, es liefert ein überzeugendes Ergebnisse beim entfernen von Laub oder von Kleinen Steinen oder anderen Unrat auf den Beeten. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Vertellung der Breite des Rechens. Diese würd über eine Handschraube erledigt und dann kann man die Breite einstellen. Wählt man die breiteste Einstellung und zieht die Schraube wieder an verstellt sich die Einstellung beim Arbeiten nach einer gewissen Zeit wieder auf die schmalste Einstellung von selbst zurück. Trotzdem würde ich mir den immer wieder Kaufen da grade das wechseln mit dem Stiel super ist
