Ours melted

Ours came off and melted in the bottom of the dishwasher so we ordered the OEM replacement on Amazon. OEM Replacements are almost always guaranteed to fit and last on for parts on existing appliances. Thanks for having it available for purchase so our Finish jet dry stays in the compartment. Yay!

Dishwasher Spot Rinse Replacement Cap

This cap fit perfectly in my dishwasher. Often times this cap to the liquid glass rinse spot remover, is loose, and will fall to the bottom of the dishwasher and can melt on the heating element. Believe it or not, this has happened to me a few times. The price was right. Not as expensive as some appliance stores can be. Go ahead and replace your old damaged cap; this fit PERFECTLY!

It looks like these caps aren't brand-specific. It looks like they're compatible between multiple brands. Fit perfectly on my frigidaire !

Side groves on the cap shouls be same as cap you re replacing

I posted a question regarding this asking if it would fit my electrolux dishwasher. I also wrote to GE and received no reply as to if I could purchase the rinse aid cap from them, no response. I contacted a company that told me I had to replace the entire rinse uni at a cost of $180.00t. After very close inspection of what was left of my melted cap I decided I would order this one from Amazon. When it arrived I was crossing my fingers that it would fit and it fit beautifully. I am so pleased that I ordered the right one because they are all different. It was looking at the side of the cap groves and there was a tiny little hole that was on both my melted one and showed on this one so look carefully and hope everyone who is looking finds the right one on Amazon! I would suggest that Amazon show detailed pics of the sides and top in this instance they did just that which resulted in a purchase and a happy customer!

IT FITS IT FITS IT FITS...

As many of us have ... we did the ultimate NO NO when refilling the rinse agent in our Kenmore dishwasher by not ensuing the cap was actually locked in place because we OVERFILLED the rinse agent and you know it, the cap flew off and ended up in the bottom of the dishwasher where it melted and would no longer do what it is designed to do. We have been looking for FOUR years for a replacement that would cost $85 and when Sears left Canada we were really having to go with trial and error. Needless to say this was not our first order but thankfully it is the last one! I have included the model number of our KENMORE dishwasher in our review picture because we could not find our particular model listed on any of the alternative replacement caps, consequently it was a lot of order, try, and return. Not this time. The item was not available for free shipping, so with the cost of the actual cap and the shipping this was a pricey item. But, we had been looking forever and it was still half the price of the "Kenmore" parts from alternative sellers or sites.
