Best cooler I found in this size

I tried several different coolers and this one is my favorite. I use it to take my lunch to work. I take 2-3 meals and protein shakes each day. Latches are nice, not as nice as Pelican but better than those rubber style yeti and RTIC use. Pelican doesn’t make a cooler in this dimension otherwise I would have bought one. Pelican style latches would make this 5 stars.

Great Buy!

I purchased a 45 quart unit and like most buyers I was drawn by the price. It has shown to be well worth the cost. I use this unit for multi week travel trips across the US, playing golf, camping in primitive "Harvest Host" golf course locations. The 45 quart unit fits perfectly between the seats in my Chevy Express van. It has shown to be quite sturdy. But then again, I have not thrown it around, only stood and sat on it. The handles have stood up to the weight. The rubber lid locks are easy to use. I typically purchase 7lb bags of ice cubes. If all my items are prechilled I can expect the ice to last 72 and sometimes 96 hrs. There is a bottle opener on the lid that works great. The seal on this unit is extremely effective. After adding ice, closing the lid and allowing it to cool down, I was unable to open the lid without relieving the vacuum through the drain line. I understand cost cutting but if there was a release valve conveniently located... I recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for a competitively priced ice cooler that compares to the over priced Named competitors.

Much larger footprint than picture or dimensions state

Tried using on inflatable kayak. Much larger top tapered bottom made sitting on it very "tippy". Reccomend square cooler for this application. Take care

Heavy Cooler

Product is heavy with thick walls. Ice retention is not quite as good as I had hoped. I am expecting ice to last 4 days with prechill.

Performance may vary

I bought this cooler after seeing the reviews and I liked the price versus other brands for the size. I was expecting 3-4 days of ice retention since it wasn’t very hot during this time of the year, maybe around 50-60 F°. In my use, the ice seemed to last around 2.5 days which was below what I expected. I did prechill everything to get max performance but even with no airspace I didn’t get the performance expected. It’s not a bad cooler but not what I was expecting. Maybe I just got a subpar one.

Amazing. Why pay 2x or 4x the price? This works just as well as the other brands. The design and manufacturing are excellent. The design elements I like start with the latches. They are simple sturdy levers mounted on durable rubber straps. So easy to use. Brilliant. Next is the handle area. The handles are great, long enough and comfortable. There is also a provision for a cargo strap. This can be used to secure a wheel kit or strap it down to your hitch or other platform. Well thought. There are also places for straps on the lid if you want to go that route. Finally, the stainless corners work as bottle openers and the lock reinforcement. What would make it better? A relief valve tops this list. I just open the drain a little to let air in and it frees up the lid. It would also be nice if they offered the specs for a cutting board and a basket or just offered the products on the page. Finally, low profile skate wheels would be brilliant. People could add the bigger wheels if needed. All coolers this size should come with wheels on one end IMHO. All that said, this thing just works. We went on vacation for a week. Used it as transport on the way to and the drink cooler while there. Despite staying outside and being opened 30x a day, the ice lasted 5 days. Crazy. On the way home, we added one 20# bag of ice to a cooler of refrigerated goods. When we got home, we only had 6oz of water, hardly any ice had melted in 11 hours. The sticker came right off too. Why did I wait so long. Can’t wait to order more.

WOW, super impressed!

I didn't really know what to expect, as I've only had "cheap", lightweight coolers in the past. First impressions were that this thing is very substantial! It certainly looks and feels heavy duty, and the build quality seems superb. I had super tight seals, and absolutely no remote signs of leakage. The way the padded carrying handle locks in place upright is so satisfying - but there are also carrying cutouts built into the cooler itself if you don't feel like using the handle. As for the lid, it seals air-tight, yet is extremely easy to latch closed and to open. The spout was totall leak-free throughout our trip, pretty fast-flowing (fills my 40oz hydroflask about as fast as my sink does), and has a large button which requires little effort - about halfway in gives you the fastest flow. I pre-chilled the easy way by simply filling with two bags of cubed ice from the grocery store the night before we left for camping. Right before we left the next morning, I added enough cold/refrigerated water to fill it to the brim. As for how it performed while camping...simply stated, the cooler worked almost too well!!! We used the water faster than the ice could melt! Typically when away longer than two days I'll have to find some place to buy more ice...but this time, I had to get more WATER! I sort of assumed that I would just naturally have more water as the ice melted, but by the time I ran out of water, the cooler was still more than 3/4 full of ice - hardly melted! When I added more water, I did add a little more ice to be sure - but only maybe half of a bag from my other cooler. In total, we were gone 4 days, in 90 degree+ weather with the cooler often in direct sunlight. When we got back, I still had 1/4 of a cooler of ice. TL;DR If you have the room to carry this thing - absolutely don't hesitate to add it to your gear!!!

Awesome product

For the price this cooler is immense value!! The high quality structure and performance would cost at least £200 more if it had a more well known brand on it. I'm looking forward to getting loads of use out of this for years to come.

La mejor hielera de todas.

He tenido, Magellan, yeti, Coleman etc y no se compara al valor /precio con la de Amazon. A un precio demasiado accesible y te dura más que la yeti. Hasta 5 días el hielo adentro sin abrirla. Y unos 3 días, en constante uso. Ideal para acampar 5 días, para estar en la playa, etc etc buenísima! Dejen de gastar su dinero en otras marcas caras.... Lo único malo es la etiqueta amarilla, pero la quitas en 30 segundos sin necesidad de usar nada.
