Better for Sleeping than Slugging

I originally grabbed a tube of this at my grocery store, because it was marked down and I saw the word "Overnight." I figured it would be a nice thick lotion for something like a slugging approach on my hands and body this winter ( ICYMI, "slugging" means applying a layer of (usually) petroleum jelly to soften up your skin while you sleep. I need to use something lighter than petro jelly). I had no idea the lotion had melatonin, but let's just say that hit me the first time I went to use it! Traditional melatonin supplements do not work for me At All, so it was downright shocking when I was almost dozing off while I applied this! I slept like a baby and I continue to use it almost nightly. I only apply to my legs now, and sometimes still feel a little dopey waking up, like I took a tylenol PM and haven't slept it off. If you are sensitive to melatonin, this will probably work but start off with a small-ish amount. Also I wasn't wild about the scent but luckily it doesn't linger. Give it a try, and sweet dreams!

Top 3 Fav Lotions BUT not for cracked/callused hands READ ON

Winter time means, cold air, dry hands, and with daily constant hand sanitizer use that means cracked hands as well! What a joy right? Not! I use this every night with gloves to help seal the moisturizer in. This stuff works very well! The hyaluronic acid keeps the lotion on your skin and almost creates a barrier. The smell is faint but lavender is present. They call it a calming night scent. There’s one major thing.. IF YOU HAVE CRACKED HANDS CURRENTLY…this will not fix it. This is more of a maintenance lotion. To fix the cracked hands find a lotion with a super high Urea level. Yes, this has urea in it but my cracked hands only went away with using this in combination with a&d ointment. Pros: Very thick, little goes a long way. Pleasant calming smell/not overpowering Hyaluronic acid is a major plus Cons: This is mainly a maintenance cream. If your hands are cracked and bleeding, this is not for you. If you have any rough patches/calluses, this will not do anything to help them. It’s a bit pricey for the amount you get. TLDR; Now that my hands are no longer cracked and bleeding. I will still use this nightly with my moisturizing gloves. That way they do not go back to drying out.

I use this every night on my feet and they stay soft and smelling lovely. I put it on before I go to bed and cover my feet with socks. In the morning they're ready to face the day.

Clearly one of the Best body lotion

I have extremely dry skin and live in a very dry environment, so I have tried many different lotions. While Gold Bond Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion (left) is not the thickest lotion, it moisturizes better and skin stays hydrated longer than any Gold Bond lotions I have tried. The photo shows 3 but I have tried at least 6 different Gold Bond lotions over time. Softening Lotion with Shea Butter (middle) is probably the thickest lotion from Gold Bond. Gold Bond Restoring Lotion (right) is the lightest. Even though the texture is rich, Gold Bond Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion (left) absorbs quickly into the skin. There’s a different scent on all 3 Gold Bond lotions I mention in this review. They’re all super mild and disappear quickly, but my favorite is the lavender scent on the Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion (left). All in all, I give Gold Bond Overnight Deep Moisturizing Lotion (left) a 5 Stars for leaving my skin non-greasy, silky smooth and hydrated for 24 hours.

Never buying another brand of lotion

I hate applying lotion. I put it off forever until my skin is cracked and painful. I used to work at Bath and Body Works so I am a big fan of their scents and it was natural to get that stuff for bath products. Never again. It’s so expensive to get that brand and this works so much better! This literally healed up my skin overnight after one application. My only complaint is I don’t care for the scent as well, but the results are amazing so I can deal.

This product is as good as I hoped it would be

I have been using the normal Gold Bond Ultimate Healing cream for years, after discovering it on a trip to the US. When I saw this I thought it would be worth a try, as I have very dry feet and I am constantly looking at ways to keep them moisturised. I tried this cream and loved the results. I will definitely be getting it again
