Bought XL for 5yr old

These run a little small but overall a good product. The Giordini brand is well known and no doubt will keep my daughters hands warm.

Not waterproof

I always thought Gordini cold weather mittens/gloves were a good product. I purchased these for my grandson for his first trip to the snow and skiing. They did fit him properly, however, it was hard to get his thumb into the slot; second, the gloves often slipped off his hands; and third, although the Mitts didn't get very wet, there was moisture on the insert, not from sweating. Why would the insert be waterproof (not) and the exterior of the mittens not be? I'm very disappointed in these kids' mittens.

Warm

Just bought another pair for our youngest for this winter. These are very warm and have kept our 5yo’s hand warm even on the coldest skiing days.

Toasty warm fingers.

Great toddler mittens. Only complaint is that the elastic on the end is a bit too snug and makes it hard to zip all the way closed over the forearm. Works great on the bigger sizes but the xs is a bit snug for chubby toddler arms. Otherwise great mitten, keeps the little ones fingers warm and dry.

Thumb

These are the mittens if you need to help your toddler guide their thumb into the right position. Love the zipper! Used for playing in the snow and skiing kept his hands warm.

Keeps him warm in negative temps!

These mittens have kept our little one warm for two Montana winters now (as a 2 and 3 year old). They are easy to put on, and they stay on. Our LO wears them over and under his cuffs. Snow doesn't get in. These are the only mittens our little guy will wear, and he has never complained of cold hands even when the temperatures are below 0* Fahrenheit. Highly recommend!

Easy on, but get wet after 2 hours or less.

These glove are so much easier than typical toddler gloves. My son can still pick things up, they aren’t bulky, and the thumb is not hard to get into the thumb hole. We really love them. I gave 4 stars because they get wet. After 2 hours in forest school and he has to change his gloves. Which is super annoying.

Not user friendly for 12-24 months.

I wouldn’t recommend these for a child under 2. Extremely difficult to put them on with the zipper and get their thumb in.

True to Size and Warm

These fit true to size. Easy to put my son's thumbs in the mitts and very warm!
