2020 Chevy Camaro - Lug Nuts look nice, but coating is fragile

First thing to note is that these are painted, not anodized. I used my taped up socket and installed them by hand and only scuffed the edges a little bit. OK, not that visible. If you use your impact, it will chip the paint. Some have said that leads to corrosion, which makes sense. I had to try it, right. I set one wheel with the impact at 140 ft lbs, and sure enough, i had to repaint them. While we all know you should tighten your lug nuts manually and validate with a torque wrench, the impact sure is more convenient. Especially to remove. Be prepared to stick to your manual breaker bar and torque wrench for these units to keep them in good condition.

Picture does not match what you get

Based on the picture, I was hoping to get the old style of lug nut. Instead I received the new style. Not exactly what I wanted.

Black Rims need Black Lugs!!

YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER TO BUY 5 PACKS! NOT 4! You would think, you have four tires, you need four packs.... but nooooooo you need 5!! haha These look great, but scratch easily so be careful installing.

Lug nuts rust and pit quickly !!!

These black lugs are garbage, they started rusting just 6 months after installing.Want my money back . Never had lug nuts rust before!! Gave it one star cause I had to.Gorilla should send me real black chrome nuts that don’t rust and pit. Real dissatisfied with gorilla!!????

Great solution to replacing original lug nuts.

These are very well made lug nuts! The black chrome is exactly what I needed to update the look of my vehicle. I expect these to last a long long time.

Put these on the factory dress wheels replacing chrome. It's a subtle touch, but looks very nice.
