Prefer this container over other water filter pitchers
I've used a few different types of water filters over the years--- including the attach to the sink Pur model, and smaller pitchers itself directly. As much water as my household uses, this 30 cup has been my favorite, I actually bought this one again because my previous one broke while moving (my bad on that-- was not properly packed). This is sturdy and I change the filters every 2 months because we do drink a lot of water in my household. Price point is still great for what it does-- the filters can be a bit pricy at times, but, you save money with a multi pack of them. I like the convenience of not having to lift the container out of the fridge to use, and easy to refill/ easy to replace filters.

Wish the tap lever stayed in a flipped up/down position
I use this with the pur plus filters. The dispenser is a nice design, but my one complaint is that you have to hold the tap’s lever downward to keep the water flowing, as it pulls back into a closed position automatically. I wish that the dispenser lever would flip down to stay in the open position, like a more traditional tap design. Since I have the pitcher on the edge of the counter, one hand is holding a cup/vessel and the other is pulling the lever. Other tap dispenser designs can flip into an open position and keep dispensing, which frees up one hand to stir something in while water is flowing, readjust your grip if it’s a large pot you’re filling up, etc. Also- rarely, if you pull the lever down at a slightly off angle, the plastic makes a squeaking noise. I worry a little about breaking the plastic construction of the lever, since it has to be held down continuously when in use. The container is pretty heavy when full, so if you pull down the lever too forcefully, it feels like it strains the plastic molding and it could snap the whole lever off. It should be fine as long as you don’t use too much force or push the lever down at a weird angle, though. I wish they would update the dispenser lever design, but otherwise it’s easy to use and a very convenient size.

Maybe I'm just used to the old one
As title suggests. The older model has a blue fill part which makes it a bit easier to see where the water is up to as I'm filling it. I don't care for the dispense lever because it cannot lock in position if I need to fill for a large jug. Not sure how the sensor calculates when it's time to change the filter, but it feels too soon. It was blinking red less than 2 months after getting it. Considering I only filled it on average of less than 3 times a week, that doesn't calculate to nearly the amount of the advertised gallons yield. This also came with the 3 step filter. Maybe it's placebo but I swear the 2 step taste more crisp to me, the 3 step almost taste like bottled spring water, just not my thing. If you're used to the old blue one, I'd recommend sticking to that if it's available and about the same price. The "upgrades" were not worth it for me.

Perfect for my fridge!!
I love everything about this dispenser—the size and design were all perfect! I didn’t care that the spout didn’t lock in because it didn’t affect the water flow so I’m unsure why people were complaining. The PUR company should ignore people’s complaints. The water is delicious and clean!! Thank you for a great product!!!

works great and water is so clean
this is slightly more compact than i was expecting, but it fits great in my fridge. my water straight out of the tap has a small odor and is not very clear, but the filter on this thing works wonders. the water comes out so clear and tasteless. it works amazingly.

Love it
I have 3 in my apartment. We use them for making coffee, tea, watering the dogs or just drinking water. There's way to many chemicals and minerals like lead and sulfer in the water system. (P.S. I'm aware this one does not remove lead) We might not be able to remove 100% of the bad stuff, but we try to remove as much as possible.

First one didn't work; second one did.
I think I understand the mixed reviews on this. The first one I received started slowly dripping sometimes after a few weeks, but jiggling it worked. Until it didn't, and the spout came apart altogether. Amazon replaced it immediately, however, and the second one has given me no problems at all so far. So sometimes they're great, and sometimes they're not. I do have to refill it more often than I did my Brita dispenser (which I dropped and cracked) - one to two times a day vs. once every two days. But this one is sleeker and nicer looking than that one was.

No more water bottles!
The amount of water bottles all over my house is embarrassing. Im tired of lugging in those 24 packs. I had to put a stop to it. I have a smaller filter that just could not keep up with my water drinking. I live in Arizona, I drink about 2 40oz tumblers of ice water every day. I refill this at night. This is gonna be my final clean water system purchase. Unless they somehow make it better but I don't see how. I love the slim design the most, doesn't take up any room in the fridge. Get one and get your mama one!

Ergonomic design
Easy to handle and use, the container is ergonomically designed but would like the handle to also be more rounded. Filter replacement is perfectly simple and shows the technology that went into it. Plastic container uses high quality plastic but the handle may not hold up to use over time.

;) best filter
I had this brand filter in my other apartment but I movedcouldn’t installed directly from the tap in my other apartment, so I decided to buy that kind of filter, after reading some bad reviews I decided to buy another filter (popular) and I was disappointed, so I returned, so I got Pur and I am satisfied, it would take some time to filter but trust me, the water will taste good

Crystal Clear taste
It does take more than 20 minutes to filter the water but the results are pure. Now where do I find filters that dont cost an arm and a leg =)

Nice but too slow
We initially liked this filter dispenser, but quickly began having a lot of problems with it. The filtering is so slow. Sometimes it sits for at least 8 hours overnight, and the pitcher of water still hasn't filtered. It doesn't provide enough water for two people (especially during a heatwave), so we've had to return to our old Britta filter. Very disappointing.

Fine product
It's a water filter, so there's not much to it. I have no way to measuring the quality of the water at home, so I just hope that the certifications really guarantee that the filter works. Anyhow, you need to keep refilling it, and it does take a long time to filter the water, so my advice is to have it near the tap and refill it as to keep the top container always full. Not adequate for a family who drinks a lot of water.
