I'm 2k miles in and i'm having a major issue with flatting.

I really wanted these tires to work out, there aren't many in the limited 650B sub 40MM space. I've set these tires up tubeless and have used them to commute 40 miles round trip. My daily trip is 80% greenbelt/park where no cars are allowed and 20% street. I've experienced more flats in the last six months then i have in my previous three years of commuting. I'm giving this tire a 3 stars because my front tire has been rock solid, but my rear is constantly having problems. This tire rolls very fast, almost as nice as a traditional road slick but if you want a tire to commute on and need flat protection I would look else where.

The 27.5x1.5 I ordered are Tubeless ready

Only on my first day with these but love them. So light, fast and feel durable. Running about 37psi on 24mm internal carbon rims and they’re fast! Handle great. I have them on a speed pedelec bike (28mph electric motor) and they feel compliant, controlled and durable. Was using 27.5x2.0 maxxis refuse before—good tire but twice the weight of these and not nearly as fun.

NOT TO BE RUN TUBELESS! SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS!!

I bought a set of these for my Cannondale Slate - the result was disastrous. I mounted the back tire first, and was a little concerned at how easily I got it onto the rim... it seemed pretty loose. I put the normal amount of sealant into the tire, and inflated to the rated max of 75psi. I took the bike for a ride, and about 10 minutes in, the tire blew off the rim completely! The explosion scared the hell out of me, coated my whole bike in sealant, and left me riding along the road on my rim, badly scratching it up. I walked the bike home and cleaned everything up carefully - it took ages to get all the sticky sealant off the various nooks and crannies in the bike. I remounted the tire, this time being very careful to ensure it was hooked into the rim properly. Again, inflated to 75psi. The tire seemed OK, but as I was giving it a final clean it exploded in my hand, injuring two of my fingers and leaving my ears ringing. Sealant everywhere again. Bottom line: although these look like a good replacement for the stock tires on the Slate, I won't be going near them again!
