I ordered the GUESS Effect Grooming BOOST 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash with Caffeine for Men, 6.7 Fl Oz for my husband. He used it all up pretty quickly. It's a very small size, given the price. I get that this is a premium health and beauty product, and you're paying for the brand more than anything. The scent is really nice, but there are a lot of other body washes out there that smell great for a fraction of the cost. It's a nice treat or a gift, but he probably won't re-order this due to the price.

Average hair and body wash
I have been using this on my face and head (tight buzz cut), and it cleans fine. It doesn't have a ton of fragrance in it, which is fine by me. The fragrance that is there is fine, though. I was hoping for a bit more of a "boost" from this, but I didn't notice anything significant. My main purpose for ordering this was to try to reduce some of the oilyness of my face and head, and it hasn't really helped much in that area. I usually use Lever 2000 bar soap for head and face in the shower, and I do feel this is less harsh on my face when using it. The bottle is also a pretty decent size, so it should last a while for me...

A nice, soothing strongly fragranced hair and body wash.
A thick gel-based body and hair wash. The formula contains caffeine to "help soothe, energize and invigorate the skin." My skin felt fresh and clean after using the body wash, and I used a small amount. I didn't notice any immediate caffeine effects, but the scent is strong and, to me, pleasant and masculine. Strongly and deeply fragranced. The scent is musky and spicy and reminds me of old-school Old Spice or bay rum. Nicely packaged in a space-saving toothpaste-style tube, but the cap can become unlocked in a gym bag or other container where it can make a mess if not secured. We store the tube in a zip-top bag to prevent this from happening. A little on the expensive side at about $10 at the time of our review for a body wash -- it's about twice the cost of a mass-market product. It's a concentrated formula and is almost seven ounces, so if used sparingly it's a good value.

Smells great
The biggest selling point here is the strong (and pleasant) scent that will probably be an excellent alternative for an AXE obsessed teen. I didn't find caffeine bringing in much difference, personally. The wash itself works well as both shampoo and body wash. $10 is quite a high price for the quantity you get (about a cup) though. 11/7/2021

Feels very nice
I was reading about caffeine in face and body products. Apparently the idea is that it reduces puffiness and combats cellulite. That's the idea but after reading a bit about it there also seems to be this argument about no clinical proof this works. So I'm not going to bother focusing on it as a plus or minus here. It's still a very good body wash. I haven't been using it in my hair as I have a really good shampoo I stick to. But as a body wash it's really good. It lathers easily and leaves your skin feeling very soft and smooth. You feel clean afterwards and the scent is a fresh, clean smell that seems to linger for a while. My feeling is that it would be good for people who are athletic. You really do feel very fresh afterwards.

Nice but Not on my "Favorites" List
I like shampoos and body washes with a robust scent to wake me up in the morning. This product does not have that. Thus, this is not a "favorite" of mine. Still, it is a nice product others may enjoy for the reason I do not! I do like the multi-use (hair and body) as it washes out nicely from both and leaves me clean. Hair feels soft and without oil. Skin does not dry out either, and sweat, etc. are washed away without a trace. A little goes a long way here. Tube will last awhile as less than a dime sized drop did my hair and body! The scent is little and a little more floral/less citrus or tobacco or leather than I like in my grooming products. Does seem to linger after the shower a little longer than some other products, which would be great if I enjoyed the aroma more.

Good Body Wash, No Real Noticeable Caffeinated Difference
The Guess Effect Grooming BOOST 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash with Caffeine is a good body wash that gets skin and hair clean without drying out either. The wash lathers up well, gets hair and skin clean, and leaves you smelling musky and fresh. As far as washes go, it works as well as other body washes the husband uses, and he noted there was no real difference in his skin or hair when it came to the "boost and caffeine". He did like how it's a two in one bath and body product and thought it would be a great product to bring when traveling or camping. While the product itself works well, he thought it was a bit expensive for the amount of product received. It would be far more cost effective to purchase shampoo and body wash separately, and the end result would be just as good. Overall, it's a good 2-in-1 wash, but nothing that's so unique that he would purchase again.
