Decent watch bands, with caveats

These are comfortable, but I was less impressed with the outside appearance - not as nice as the pictures. Also unbelievably, these did not come with replacement spring bars. I haven’t seen that often, and for the price, they should.

Nice looking band, comfort not so great.

Aesthetics: 5 stars. Nice coloring of the watch band. It is more red than purple toned in color, which I didn't expect, but I like. I put this on the Seiko 5 beige military watch and I love how it makes the watch feminine. Comfort: 1 star. I will probably keep this band because I like it, but something has to be done on my end to make it more comfortable. It's not about the break in period, but the fact that in certain parts of the band, there are little threads (the end of the stitching) that stick your skin. It's highly irritating and makes my wrist itch. I have not had irritation problems with other metal or leather bands, so I'm inclined to think this band is the problem. One part is where the buckle meets and is joined to the leather. The threads used here poke on the inside. Another is the second loop that holds the end of the leather band after you've put it on and buckled it on. It is lizard all the way around, and the texture plus the threads sewn to hold the loop together is very itchy. As a result, I will try to file/out clear polish/ do something about the threads. And I will likely return another black Hadley Roma band I bought because I don't want two bands that cause such discomfort. Also other reviewers are right--this band does not come with springbars so either use the ones that come with your watch or be prepared to buy two.

Love the Green Color

Great value all around. Love the color, medium green brightened up my watch. Would definitely buy again in same or different color.

Lovely, but short

This is a lovely watch band which looks great with my 30-year old Seiko with red marbled accents (hard to describe, but very pretty). However, this band only fits very snugly on the second-to-last hole, and the end barely fits under one of the "keepers", so using it on the last possible hole (which would be more comfortable) means the end sticks out and doesn't fit under either of the keepers. My wrist is 6-1/4" around, which is average, and the watch itself, at 1", is not small. I have never had a size problem with any other women's watch bands including previous ones for this watch. So - great price, but there might be a reason. At this price I also don't really expect it to hold up very well, but I will probably order an extra, because I haven't been able to find another leather band that looks this good with this particular watch, and I was willing to pay a lot more than the cost of this one.

Lasts for Years

I bought this 3.5 years ago and it is still durable. I try to change it seasonally for the Summer(3months). It shows little wear although one of the loops came off. It's hard to find a 15mm band. I do have a small wrist so there is no problem with the length. It is shorter than the band that came with my watch by 3/4 inch. I need a new Summer band so will buy this in white (wish they had light pink like the original Citizens band)

Slightly big, but easy fix

I had a little bit of a hard time attaching this watch band to my mom's watch at first as it was a little too wide/stiff. After massaging the leather for a little I was able to make it softer and it fit onto the watch nicely! So far after one year it has held up great! Looks nice and would recommend to someone who needs a new watch band!

Outstanding Material, Construction & Price

Appears to be of very good quality in both material and construction. Did not come with pins but will work with existing pins. Last band tore at pin fold. This has material folded under and stitched around pin placement. This type of construction should last longer. The color is bright pink with lizard texture. Buckle appears to be of a good quality metal. This band should cost 3X the price offered. A great value.

Waste of Money

this was a waste of money. the band is still as a rock and actually hurts my wrist. I will never be able to break it in. It is too expensive in postal etc. to return it so I am stuck with something I have no use for and had to buy pins for it!
