Almost works with bagels

Works fine for toast. Like that each side is controlled independently so the wife and I can get toast the way we like it. But. Slots are not wide enough for most bagels. Generally the top side of the bagel doesn’t not fit since it’s usually a touch thicker than the bottom side.

It does not burn one side of toast like other toasters. Love the one slice option. And the bagel option. Great product!

Metal, not plastic toaster.

I bought this toaster to replace the same model that I had for years and one side started not heating well. I like the fact that it looks the same, it is mostly metal and is a little smaller and lighter. However, this one does not toast as dark as my old one and it does not light up when you are toasting. A bit more expensive than other toasters, maybe because it is metal? I still like it better than the cheaper appearing/feeling plastic models.

Quality Toaster

I received this same toaster several years ago as a gift from a relative. After many years of use I decided to replace it with a new one. However, it was not available in any store where I live. So I have gone through at least three other brands and not happy with performance or quality for what I paid. So I looked up on Amazon and was thrilled to find it was available! Love it.

It works! Toasts nicely! Its Ez to use. Costco took back the defective CUISINART

Hamilton Beach toasts as it should its activation levers click into place with very little downward force vs the competitor that was downright tough to have stay locked in place.

Terrible seller service - steer clear

Stay away from the 3rd party seller called "Unbeatable Specials". Product was sold as "Used - Like New - New - Open box", but it's not "like new" or "new", it's defective. One lever does not stay down when pushed down to begin toasting so two of the 4 toast slots are useless. I've requested a return & refund which was approved, but the return instructions state that I must pay the shipping cost and the refund is an Amazon gift card rather than a refund to my credit card. Why should I pay the shipping cost for a product you sold to me that is defective? This is awful service. UPDATE - the return shipping cost was $27. Great...cost me $27 to receive a defective product and ship it back. Never again.
