Le Hamilton Halter est une image de force et de beauté qui a été largement acceptée par les propriétaires de chevaux à travers l'Amérique. Chaque licou est composé de plus de 16 pieds de toile 100% nylon, double couture et triple épaisseur. Son fil 100% nylon est cousu dans une conception de point de diamant pour donner la forme et la rigidité du licou pour un ajustement supérieur. Il est considérablement plus solide que la couture en une seule ligne ou avec un point d'arrêt conventionnel. Cinq œillets en laiton massif fixés dans des trous de brûlure donnent au licol une double paroi de protection contre l'effilochage des œillets. Very nice halter. Well made as Hamiton's halters usually are. However, I did not notice until I got it that the nose band is not adjustable, and the throatlatch doesn't have a clip to undo it that way. I did modify mine using the clip from my old halter and putting it on the new. Simple enough to do by using a razor to cut the stitches then using Shoe Gloo to "sew" the clip in the new halter. Over all a very nice halter, I just didn't look closely enough to notice that it wasn't the fully adjustable type.

Not just for foals

I have a herd of Miniature Horses & this works really well for a medium sized Mini. But much prefer the snap closure over buckles. That’s the only reason to avoid this particular product, that I can think of. And they are easy to find/ price compare. Buckle style halters for minis most often are leather (awesome), but rarely available.

Description is not accurate

It says that the chinstrap is adjustable. Mine is definitely not adjustable. And look close at the picture, it does not have a cheek snap. You have to undo and redo the crown every time you take the halter off, or want to put it on. I should have looked closer, but I just assumed. That's my fault. Don't make the same mistake. However, if that is something that you don't mind, than this halter is wonderful. Hamilton halters are great quality and last forever. And the color is beautiful.

One halter is not the same as another

Well, this is a very nice halter but the size is deceiving. I bought this for my donkey and it fits my quarter horse. Expect these to be a gamble with the sizing they offer. I don't think you can really get a good fit by the weight of the animal.

I like the halter

I like the halter, however it rubbed on his face. Can't say if it was from him scratching his face because of flies or if it is because it was a bit miss sized. Other than that it works beautifully.

Good Halter

I've had these kind of halters for years and love them. They are getting harder to find in a tack store, and when I saw this on Amazon I snapped it up. The brass fittings in the holes keep them from getting ripped, it's sturdy, and looks really nice.

Excellent Halter

Hamilton halters are the best, first off. This one was a steal and just as high of quality. I have no clue how long he had the one he wore before but it had a clip on it that broke so I had to get him a new one. This fits even better than the one he had prior! He’s a 13/14ish hand horse and probably weighs around 800# so I got him the small. Fits perfect!

I love the Hamilton halter it just doesn't fit a draft horse as advertised

Quality wise it's awesome however more for warmbloods or small drafts out draft crosses then large drafts. It did not fit my 18hh percheron at all. I wish it could have but unfortunately even if falling in the weight range of the halters specs, with many of the big heavy heads in draft breeds it will not fit. I wish they would make a large draft halter. I love the thickness and the hardware. I would give this a 5 star in construction! But a 3 star because they really need to come up with a legitimate draft size halter.

hochwertiges stabiles Halfter

Das Halfter ist sehr stabil mit einer sehr guten Passform für Isländer. Es ist etwas kleiner als die Premium Variante. Es scheuert auch bei längerem Tragen nicht. Es ist absolut sicher und reißfest beim Anbinden und beim Transport auch bei Jungpferden, die gerade erzogen werden. Bei anderen Halftern bricht schnell ein Ring oder Haken und das Pferd lernt, dass Widerstand erfolgreich ist und wird immer mehr zerren.

Qualität und Größe wie gewohnt

Die Grösse Average passt meinem Isländer mit dickem 'Quarter' Kopf sehr gut. Und die Grösse Small Horse passt meinem kleinen Isländer mit 1,33 Stockmass und kleinem Kopf, der sonst Halftergrösse Pony trägt, noch so grade eben.
