My new favorite shorts!
I’m wearing a size med and they are a bit snug, but still comfortable. I’m 5’6” and a fit 150 lbs. I’m generally a true medium. The only reason I docked a star on these is that I don’t like that they’re partially polyester - I would have greatly preferred 100% cotton. Polyester (microplastic) is an endocrine disrupter. Other than that, they do FEEL like cotton sweats material and they’re very cute and comfortable. A great mom short - not too revealing and not too long either.

Soft and Comfortable Causal Shorts
Pros • Fit, Size, Comfort, Quality • Color & Construction Verdict (4 stars) These are nice causal shorts that are soft and comfortable (fairly thick). The stitching is straight, and the overall construction and material are good quality. Stretchable waistband for fit and the length is right for the style. Good shorts for wearing around the house, walking, outside in the yard, causal wear, etc. The front pockets are deep enough to hold a cell phone, wallet, keys, etc. Though it might not be the most comfortable depending on the size you order, and you will only want to keep 1 item in each pocket.

Generous Fit
I like Hane's products no matter where they are stitched together. They tend to be a consistent quality, not the most expensive nor the cheapest. These shorts are made of a comfy, thick cotton blend. They have nice side pockets which are useful for exercising when you might want to carry small items. The length is not too short nor too long. I usually wear a small, so the medium was generous but came in the color I preferred, black. They fit just as I would expect a medium Hane's short to fit. They washed and dried very nicely with a small amount of shrinkage. I tried them for a spin class and they really didn't work very well. They are too short for a cycle seat and my inner thighs felt the lack of cloth between them and the seat. They are also too slippery for spin classes but then again who gets shorts like these to do spin classes? LOL I can easily recommend these shorts to friends and family who just want a comfy pair of shorts for walking in or wearing around the house in the summer.

Comfortable but they really look oversided
Quality stitching, strong waist band and thick fabric. I normally wear a medium, but these look big so I ordered a small. They fit good around my waist, but they look like a Large on my body. I won't be able to wear them outside the house, because they don't look flattering at all. It's not all bad, these are just high quality construction and design for comfort around the home. I am 4;11" and 120 pounds. - A small shouldn't wear like a large size. I don't normally pick thick fleece for summer wear, they could be useful in a colder environment or in the a/c.

Comfortable but run slightly large
Really comfortable and basic shorts. I ordered a medium knowing I was somewhere in between a small and a medium. The medium is a bit on the big side for me and what I would have expected a medium to be. Overall satisfied for the value and would say they are slightly less soft version of the Amazon basics shorts.

comfy shorts!
I'm usually a size M in loungewear and these shorts fit pretty well! I thought they might be similar to my other sweat shorts that are a bit thicker, but these are lightweight and thinner. They do have a pocket on each side that is a good space, however I do wish they were deeper. Once you sit down, your items may fall out. They do stretch at the waistband a good amount, so these shouldn't dig into your skin at all and they feel super comfy. I do worry about my legs chaffing against each other since they are a bit shorter, but I'll definitely wear these to sleep and at the occasional gym workouts!

Perfect Cozy Shorts
These Hanes shorts are perfect for lounging around the house, wearing to sleep, working out, or walking the dog. The description is "heavyweight fleece" - I really like the fabric and find it substantial enough that it doesn't wrinkle or ride up, but it's not so thick it would be overbearing. Loved the quality and feels like it really holds it's shape and looks nice. Really cute shorts - comfortable to wear in and out of the house but also flattering.

Cozy and comfy!
I ordered these for myself and I am between sizes. I sized down and I should not have. I am 5'7" and 140lbs but bottom heavy and these are a tiny bit too tight for me. A medium would have been better. However, they fit my stepdaughter perfectly. She is 5'9" and 140lbs and very lean. She loves them! They are soft and cozy and exactly what you expect from the brand. The color is just as pictured. My stepdaughter loves them and I am sure I would have in a medium!
