Well-designed and attractive, but check for damaged parts

Finally took time off work to get the plumber in here to install these after almost 5 weeks without either bathroom sink due to renovations (contractors are the most unreliable people on Earth, FYI). Plumber inspects the faucets/parts and shows me this with the threads damaged and bent. I looked over everything when both faucets arrived, but this piece was inside one of the faucets so I didn't see it. Looks like somebody took a wrench or something to it. Amazon sent a replacement, and it was damaged, too, but thankfully not the part I needed. At first I thought this was the fault of Hansgrohe, but now I know it was just Amazon blindly accepting returns and re-shipping used/broken stuff. The replacement actually did not come in its original box, it was crammed into a much smaller box. Don't be an idiot like me and jump to blaming the manufacturer or seller immediately! As for the faucets, I absolutely love them! The spout can be moved to the side when I wash my face, which is incredibly convenient. I really just love the unique look they have! My plumber also said these will last a long time and they rarely have to replace/repair a Hansgrohe faucet. I trust my plumber since I've been using his services through 3 different properties since 2010.

good attention to design

A *really* attractive minimal-but-well-designed faucet, good attention to design, fit, and finish. Easy to install, all one piece out of the box. Bigger than it looks, we put it on a very small sink and it's a little too big for it, visually, but we liked the faucet too much to switch it. Two things that I like but might bother some people: 1) the drain plug lever is really small and comes up diagonally away from the neck of the faucet. It's nicely hidden in the back but if you don't have much clearance behind the faucet, it'd be hard to find it and get leverage to lift it 2) when you turn the tap off, the flow takes a moment to gently taper off, rather than just cutting off immediately, which is nice, actually, but it's sort of unexpected/unfamiliar.

Hansgrohe is really good value

This is extremely well made and not expensive. The faucets turn on and off with German precision and the whole thing just looks great. It is on the large side with a tall spout, so you have to have the right sink to accommodate it. We have had really good experience with Hansgrohe products -- excellent designs but in the same price ballpark as the mass-market brands which are not nearly this quality.

Works great, and swivelling spout is helpful

Flex pipes are built into this one, so pay attention to what length you need for the connection to the water pipes. Also, if you have a vanity with a swinging door above the sink, verify that the door will clear the spout, as the spout does stick up about 8-3/4". Other than those two potential gotchas, this faucet is great for us.

Really feels like a robust quality faucet

ordered two of these. One arrived slightly marred. Customer service was very responsive and quickly issued a return authorization. The actual faucet is very well built. Simple clean lines and solid lever actuation. Really feels like a robust quality faucet. It does look a bit bigger than in the generic picture provided.

Very good quality fixture

Great quality product. Nicely sized tap for a bathroom sink. Love the swivel neck of the faucet. The water stops flowing ever so slightly after the tap is turned off but this is not an issue.

My interior designer loved this faucet

I haven't installed this one yet because renovations are ongoing. I have installed the brushed nickel version about 4 years ago in our well used downstairs main bathroom. This faucet has performed flawlessly...no drips and the finish is still like new. I did replace the drain stopper with a rubber one because it needed adjusting and I am not handy. I am sure it is a simple adjustment that is needed to lift the pop up high enough to drain properly...so my husband says but he has been too busy to fix it. My interior designer loves this faucet. I wish the 3 hole plate cover was included...an extra 50 plus dollars
